11.06 Wednesday
It was grim. Gray, frowning clouds were quickly leaving, while new ones were coming, probably even grayer. The wind was rarely blowing, but when it played its song, it was stabbing with coldness.
The platform was deserted. The bleak was making it look more fearsome and unwelcoming.
A young man, not more than twenty years old, with black suitcase in hand and a tie walked to the platform and waited for his train. Every morning he gets on the same, empty train.. Sits on some seat next to a window and stares out of it, thoughtfully.
He took his watch of his pocket and looked at it. Five more minutes and his train was going to arrive noisily, the only noise, which was cutting the air around. He eyed the old railways. The village where he lived was as if it was cut from the world. You almost couldn't meet any young people. The platform was located out of it. But the man didn't have a big choice. He was working everyday to get enough money and move in a bigger town.
He sighed and turned to his left. There, on one old, far away bench was him. A man, young looking like him with raven hair, short with almost transparent, pale skin. At first the man with the suit was scared of him, but now he was used to his understandable waiting.
Once he's gone up to him and has asked the raven what he was waiting for, because through platform 28 passes only one train and he never gets on it. The pale man hasn't answered immediately, but has waited ten seconds before mumbling that he's waiting for his train, still looking ahead. The Express Train.
The man looked at him surprised and said that this train is gone for a very long time now, but the pale figure don't open their mouth any more.
Oh, there is the train. He got up on it and sat on some seat, before starting out the dirty window like every time.
One morning while waiting, the curiosity got the best of him and he approached the same man. The brunette asked him for how long has he been waiting for this train. The raven didn't look at him, but moved slightly. He responsed that he's waiting for it every morning. The man with the suitcase wasn't satisfacted and asked him more questions. Where is he from? What time does he get here? When does he leave? Why does he wait for this train? The raven answered with short sentances only some of them. For the young boy everything looked insane. While thinking, he said out loud that it looked like a death scene.
Right then, the sitting figure turned to him and answered " Maybe it is... ". His eyes were gray. Silver gray with that white sclera and dark ring, that the man with the suitcase paled and slowly walked away. His train arrived and he quickly hid inside. His breathing was heavy and he was looking around with anxiety. And the sitting man was looking expressionless the leaving train..
After work he got home with the train, which was leading him off from the other side of the village. The next morning he hesitated whether to get on the same platform, but headed towards it after all, because that was his only transport. But when he neared, something terrifying convulsed in him. The Platform wasn't there. On its place was only residue of iron and shelter. What happened here? He headed back to the village and asked a passerby why the platform was gone. The man looked at him unbelievable.
" This platform is gone for a long time. We haven't even been born at its demolition. "
The brunette's eyes widened and his face became white as a ghost. He asked the stranger how long exactly it doesn't exist.
" Nearly a hundred years " And with that the man continued his way. The young boy stood there for some time, frozen in shock. He turned at the place where every morning he should waits at for his train, and then he returned to his house. And the sitting raven on the old bench smirked with his head down and waited for his finally arriving train.
