Blakely's P.O.V.

Why are mornings so terrible? First day of school and honestly, I can't wait for summer. But getting out of bed at 6:30 isn't even the hardest part. I was really busy last night (as in freaking out that school was tomorrow) and totally forgot to choose an outfit! I don't really feel like dressing up so I throw on my new pink sweats and my grey sweater. I walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth and decide to just throw my hair into a messy bun. Who's going to check a freshman out anyways?

"Blakely!"

"Coming mom! I'll be down in a sec!" I grab my phone and backpack and run downstairs for breakfast.

After breakfast I wait outside in the rain for the bus to come. Great, now I'll look even better (not). The bus finally comes right as the rain stops and I hop on and grab the first empty seat there is. As all the other people file on to the bus, I see Leeroy coming to sit somewhere in my area. Leeroy is pretty much the school's joke. Everybody says he's gay and treats him like crap. I try to be nice to him, but I'm not sure he ever notices. I see all the idiot jocks pushing Leeroy around until he ends up falling in my seat.

"Sorry I'll leave real quick and a 5, 6, 7, 8." He jumped up and grazed my thigh and became very red.

"It's okay, Leeroy! You can sit here if you want."

"No no I'll be on my way." He said as he walked further back in the bus where there was nothing but empty seats. I honestly felt bad for him and stopped him by grabbing his arm which, to my pleasant surprise, was very firm and muscular.

"No Leeroy. Sit by me." I insisted, I mean the poor guy has no friends and he needed one. And so did I.

"It's okay Blakely. You don't have to make a fool of yourself by sitting by me on the first day, go make some real friends." After he said that I pulled him down to make him sit by me.

"Look Leeroy, I'm gonna hang out with you today. And after school you'll come to my house. If you need to, you can call your parents or whatever to say you're going to a friends house."

"Okay. I'll do it."
