The Lost Prince

All Around The Campfire.

By the time everyone had woken the sky was a light orange and Seranatho, Rachael, Hannah and Jeff were sitting on rocks that surrounded a small campfire. 3 small tents sat behind them and they rustled with the leaves as the wind blew past. Then Alex poked his head out of one of the tents and said:

"So, What did I miss?" He said sarcastically.

"Not much, just S'mores and hot dogs." Hannah said pulling a stick with a cooked hot dog on the end from the fire.

"Ok but what I meant was what was that thing that attacked us?" Alex asked.

"Come sit next to me Alex!" Rachael said beckoning Alex over who then sat beside her on the oddly shaped rock.

"Well pretty much it was just a Sound Seeper attack." Jeff said.

"What's a Sound Seeper?" Rachael said chiming in.

"Sound Seepers to me are the creepiest things in this universe. There's an old legend that explains their existence of which I will now tell." Seranatho said

LEGEND POV

Basically it happened a very,very,very long time ago in a dark part of the world where few would even dare to venture to that was named "The Abyss".

The story goes that one lone adventurer named Seeperus decided he would be the first man to venture into The Abyss and return alive. As he ventured forth into The Abyss he entered a cave and was suddenly stricken with grief at the sight of his true love slaughtered amongst some rocks. But this wasn't his true love as it was an ancient evil that few to this day know its true name or form but its given name is The Morphing Destroyer. Seeing what trickery had befallen him Seeperus decided to try and end the beast who had made him feel such sadness. Sadly, Seeperus was without proper training in sorcery and as he fired his first spell The Morphing Destroyer jumped at Seeperus making him panic. In his panic Seeperus fired a flurry of random magic spells that ricocheted off the walls of the cave bouncing past The Morphing Destroyer and back at Seeperus. With The Morphing Destroyer and a flurry of messed up magic flying at him Seeperus braced for impact and as The Morphing Destroyer hit him the missed spells collided with them that morphed the two together and shattered Seeperus's soul into an infinite amount of shards. The resulting combination of all that happened was the creation of Sound Seepers. They live off of the emotions of humans and elves alike and once they have had their fill they either drive their prey insane or push them to suicide. Sometimes they latch onto a human or elf and just feed off of the excess emotions and give them special abilities in the process. If you manage to see one like we did it will appear as your worst possible nightmare. The only known way of killing a Sound Seeper is to force feed it emotions until it appears in its most vulnerable form only then can you slay it as Hannah did to the one that attacked us.

No POV

"So in a nutshell they are deadly and will kill you if they can." Seranatho said.

"Uhhhhhh......I'm glad I have Alex and his laser hands." Rachael said snuggling closer to Alex.

"Did anyone else have a terrible nightmare after they got knocked out?" Hannah asked aloud.

"I'm pretty sure we all did Hannah, so does anyone want to talk about their nightmare?" Seranatho asked.

"Well It's time for bed and remember, no doing whatever you did back at the hotel, Ok?" Hannah said.

"Trust me as long as I'm pregnant none of that will be happening." Rachael said.

"HAHAHAHHAHA! You won't be saying that in a couple of months!" Seranatho laughed.

"Why's that?" Alex asked.

"Because when human women or elven women get pregnant with elven babies they get extremely..."Seranatho couldn't finish as he was cut off by a voice that said:

"STOP! KEEP IT PG-13 GUYS! I ALMOST GOT KICKED OFF WATTPAD FOR WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME!" The Voice echoed.

"Sorry loud creepy voice that I'm pretty sure is breaking a wall somewhere!" Alex yelled.

"That was weird but anyways Off to bed everyone!" Jeff said.

"I'll keep watch considering I haven't eaten yet and those hot dogs look yummy." Alex said looking back at the campfire.

"Don't die!" Hannah said pushing Jeff into their tent.

"No promises!" Alex said yelling back.

"You better not die!" Rachael said zipping up her tent.

"Where's the ketchup?" Alex yelled back.

"My boyfriend." Rachael said sarcastically.

Alex's POV

"Found it!" I said aloud as I discovered where the ketchup was hidden. I continued to pull a delicious smelling hot dog off of the spit above the fire.

*For sheer lack of content for the next 2 hours of Alex's life I'm doing a time skip of 2 hours. So, COMMENCE TIME SKIP!

After enjoying a couple of hot dogs and some s'mores. I decided to practice my swords skills by whacking nearby tree repeatedly. I UN-sheathed Soul Purifier from thin air and started to admire it. The pure white gold blade was sharp enough to slice your hand by just looking at it. The handle of it was laden with a blue gem the size of a ping pong ball. I walked over to the large tree standing tall behind the campsite. I started to swing at the tree but I was surprised when a small metal ball about the size of a baseball flew from nowhere and almost hit me in the head. I stood confused staring at the ball as it hovered in the air. I walked backwards as the ball started to hum and whirr. To my surprise a hologram of a heavily armored woman appeared from the ball. She was wearing a suit of armor that was blackened in areas and had divots and chunks missing from it.

"Hello Alex." The hologram said in a familiar scottish voice.

"Who are you?" I asked in confusion.

"Oh! My helmet is still on." The woman said taking off her helmet. As she removed her helmet thick red hair started to flow out. When the helmet was completely removed I was shocked to see a face that I haven't seen in 5 years.

"Chira?!?(pronounced Shee-Raa)" I said in disbelief "How!?! What?! How?!"
