ANOTHER CHAPTER HERE AND ANOTHER ONE GONE

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!! An explosion goes off near the ruins and the ground trembles. Rocks and dust fall around Alex.

A boulder falls onto the blue tinted robot, turning it into a pile of dust.

"I think it was a bad idea having the feature of it being able to turn to dust." Jeff said in a huff.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! What is that??!!" Rachael screamed pointing at a dark elf-like creature.

"That's a dark solider. He was probably sent to investigate the same strange readings that we detected." Jeff answered.

"Long live The Dark King!!!" The Dark Soldier yelled rushing at Alex.

"Stop!" Alex yelled throwing up his hands.

Suddenly a beam of light pierces the air and shoots a hole straight through the Dark Soldier. He then falls to the ground dead. Alex looks down at his hands in disbelief.

"Why? Why did I just do that? How did I just do that?"Alex exclaimed"I have power and I just killed a living.........thing."

"Lucky that didn't happen while we were holding hands."Rachael said trying to ease the tension "It was going to kill you if you had not stopped it!"

"I know that, but why did I kill him?"He asked himself

"Listen, out here it's kill or be killed. Ok? You did what you had to do. Now let's get going before they send an army."Jeff answered still carrying his passed-out wife.

"Whatever lets just get going before I have to become a human laser pointer again." Alex agreed

In agreement they then started their way towards Ricanthro Castle so they could get some answers and a way home.

ALEX"S POV

As they left the ruins Alex felt guilt for killing that soldier. He also wondered what could lie ahead of them.

But there were questions that kept circling inside of his head like "Who are my REAL parents?"

And "If my REAL parents are Elves then why was I raised in the Mortal Realm?" and "Where can I get a sandwich?"

The last one was because he really was hungry.

RACHAEL'S POV

As we all walked outside of the ruined castle all I wanted to do was stick close to Alex. Just not hold his hands, I want to keep mine intact if he proposes or wants to play video games.

"Where can I get a sandwich?"Alex asked all of a sudden (He always loved his sandwiches)

"Oh! You mean food?" Jeff answered with a question "Here you go!" he said handing Alex and I a small tablet about the size of a jellybean.

"How is this a sandwich?" I asked him back

"Think of what you want and just add water!" he said pulling us each a canteen out of his satchel.

THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY GUYS AND I WILL SEE YOU NEXT TIME
