Ah, you're still here? Well, I do suppose I owe you an explanation for taking up so much of your time. I suppose it all started with those street performers that passed by, and I became a bit nostalgic. You just happened to be the closest person to me. My luck, or your misfortune. Take your pick, but choose wisely.
Yes, yes, okay, I'll admit it. I was also hungry and wanted you to buy me some food. Why spend my own money on pork and beef when I can have someone else pay for me? If you ever live as long as I do, you'll be able to persuade people just as easily. And after all, it is proper to respect your elders. So thank you. The food was delicious.
And it wasn't all for nothing, was it? In exchange, you now know the true origin of Korea's most famous and beloved folksong. People may try to tell you otherwise, but now you know—it was all the result of a curse gone awry and yours truly who used her skills to save the day.
So keep in mind the lessons of this tale. Do not act in anger, or let other's positions in society blind you to their true nature. And most of all, be forgiving. Now go! Live your life, and live it to the fullest. Humans may have a tendency to be simple, but if they can overcome it, they will achieve great things. You are no exception.
Oh! Before you go...leave those last few dollars with me. I smelled something delicious on our way back from the park and would like to go investigate. You don't need that money, anyway—isn't that what credit cards are for?
