Andrew Jones's P.O.V

It's been a while since we've been at Derek's brother's house, but it hasn't been too bad. Eren and Levi were arguing about what to make for dinner, Drake was wandering out back of the cabin to find firewood for the woodstove, Tyler was in one of the bedrooms sleeping or smoking, and I was just sitting there staring at the two in the kitchen bickering like little kids... I sighed. I get that Eren and Levi both liked cooking but this whole arguing thing needed to stop because this was getting us nowhere, "You know what?" I stood and started for the kitchen as the two continued, "I'm cooking!" I shouted, "Go do inventory!" They both looked at me stunned. I didn't yell unless I had to and lately these two gave me reasons to be yelling, "What?" Levi questioned, "We were about-" I cut Eren off, "To about what? Stop arguing?" They looked at each other before looking down, "Inventory." They walked off as I sighed. This is why you couldn't really depend on both of them at the same time to do something but right now I didn't care, I just got done doing it myself. After dinner we cleaned up and sat back at the table to talk about what our plans would be and as always everyone had water bottles near them, "We need to find somewhere where we can raid that won't leave us empty handed." I said looking at the guys. They all seemed uninterested, but they all knew this is what needed to be done to survive, "We haven't gone east." Drake said slowly. I nodded looking at the others. Right now, there were six of us, Drake Woods, Derek and Tyler Hale, Eren Vargas, Levi Stone, and me, "Why isn't anyone else talking?" I looked at them, "We're just tired Dude." Eren replied, "We do this every night for a reason we'll go to bed right after as always." There was a small groan. What is with them? It's like they didn't want to think about how they were going to live for the next couple weeks, "Fine," I looked at them, "Bed." I got up and started to head to the room I shared with Derek and Drake. There was a mutter about something, but I didn't really care after that everyone started to shuffle to their rooms.

"We got four!" Kyler shouted as she threw her bag on after she zipped it up, "Kyler this way!'' Kieko shouted over the store counter just as she got done stuffing Tylenol into her backpack. Kyler looked at Kieko who had the right side of her face painted in makeup as a skull. Kyler kicked a can of gasoline over, turning her face away so none of it touched the makeup on her's. She heard Kieko strike a match and ran for the entrance, "We gotta find Isabella!'' Kieko yelled as she threw the match once she was out. The store caught on fire and there was yelling, "Search the area! We can't let them get away!" The two girls ran for the nearest place they could duck behind. Both breathing hard they ended up behind an old box truck on the dirt road to the right of the disaster, Kieko put her head back to the metal and swallowed hard, "Which way," She inhaled, "Do you think Bella went?'' Kyler gave a small cough from her throat being dry. "We can't go back to the left," Kyler took a sip from her water bottle before handing it to Kieko, "They might grab us." Kieko nodded and studied Kyler to make sure she was ok. Kyler's makeup was different than Kieko's, Kieko had the original black and white as for Kyler she had black and red, the black and red went around her eyes and made it seem like dripped down to give off she was infected with something, (which made her green eyes pop), on her lips was a black outline that went out to make it look like she was smiling, she shaded it in with red and made it look like blood was going down her chin, "Kiki, over there." Kyler took the water bottle back as she nodded across the road, "Behind that factory or even in it." Kieko nodded, "Seems like a Blackheart move.'' Kieko wet her lips and looked at Kyler, "You're thinking what I'm thinking?'' Kyler nodded, "Thank God for waterproof makeup." Kyler pulled her pack back on and looked around the corner of the truck, "We have about two minutes before they start coming out a bit further..." Kieko said quietly, "Let's go." They ran with all their might to get across the road and up it about 20 feet to get behind the factory. Kieko nudged Kyler and pointed to the back metal door... The doorknob was spray painted black. Kyler turned the knob and pulled it open as she motioned for Kieko to go in first. Kieko slid past her into the dark factory that was only lit by sun through the windows, as Kyler shut the door and locked it there was a huge bang. Kyler grabbed a broom that was next to the door and handed it to Kieko, at first Kieko didn't notice until Kyler tapped her with the wooden handle, Kyler grabbed a metal pipe as they started walking to a doorway, "If we weren't smart and Sam didn't give us a class, I think we would die." Kyler whispered, "It's not a movie Ky." Kieko whispered back, "Grab the flashlight from the first pocket." Kyler began to rifle through Kieko's bag to find it. Kyler grabbed the flashlight and flipped it on handing it to Kieko, Kieko shined it down the hallway that the doorway led to, "We clear behind?'' Kyler looked behind them where the sun shined through the dirty windows showing where they came from, "Yeah, if it's that dark down there then these must be the only windows." Kieko nodded feeling her throat become dry from growing nervous. They started walking down the hallway, the hallway was dusty and cold from not being touched or even touched by the sun, they walked slowly. Kyler ended up walking backwards holding onto Kieko's pack shining her own flashlight back up the hallway to make sure there weren't any surprises. Once they reached the end there was another bang and the hallway... had divided into two different ways, "Which way is the banging coming from?'' Kyler shined the light to the left as Kieko did to the right, "You know we could - " Kieko cut Kyler off, "If the leader is not present or there is not an even number Kyler, we cannot do that.'' Kieko said sternly. Kieko was always the ones that followed Sammy's rules and she knew why it was like that... She and Isabella were leaders for a reason. Kyler gave a small groan, "I say we go left." "Why left?" Kieko asked looking to her, "Because you know how much Bella hates being right." Kieko gave Kyler a look before realizing she just said Isabella's motto; with that Kieko followed Kyler down the left hallway. The banging had become louder and louder and light had begun to shine through the tunnel of darkness, the girls killed the lights and stayed down low being careful not to make a loud noise or step on anything that could make a noise, "Why won't you open!" Kyler and Kieko looked at each other before moving from the wooden crate they were peeking over, "Bella?" The banging stopped and Isabella Blackheart stepped around the corner holding a wrench, "Hey guys." She breathed heavily and the half skeleton mask she had painted on from the middle of her nose down had blood splatters on it, "What are you doing?" Kyler asked as they begun to walk over to her, "I can't get this stupid drawer open." Isabella sounded frustrated like a little kid, her eyes were bright gold from the sun entering from the windows above to the left of the ceiling, "What happened?" Kieko's eyes were pinned to the red marks on the white makeup, "I was down the street at the thrift shop and this guy came out of nowhere screaming zombie," Kyler went around the corner and into the room Isabella came from and saw that there was a padlock on the drawer she wanted to open, "A zombie?" Kieko shrugged the heavy pack from her shoulder next to Isabella's that was on a conveyor belt along with the broom, "Yeah so, he starts throwing shit at me and he somehow remembers he has a gun on his hip and right when he went to go pull it he made the mistake of looking down and I grabbed the nearest thing, which was a baby's spin chair thing and hit him a few times." Kieko gave a small laugh hearing that the guy got hit by a baby chair, "But you're fine though?" Isabella pushed her hair out of her face, "Yeah, I'm good." Kieko nodded as they heard the metal of the padlock hit the floor, "Got it!" Kyler stood pulling the drawer open, "How'd you?" The girls' grabbed their packs and headed to Kyler, "Bowe is a pro at picking locks, I picked up a few things." Kieko chuckled, "Cool." Kyler pulled a file out of the drawer and handed it to Isabella, "That's weird, you should look at that." Isabella went over to the desk and opened the file as Kieko flashed her flashlight onto the pages, "They were doing some sort of experiments here..." Isabella said as she continued to read and Kyler walked over, "There are just scraps of papers in the drawer with some paper clips, but that's the only real thing in there." Kieko's hazel eyes went to Kyler, "Must be something they were hiding." "Listen to this," Isabella flipped back a page, "Subject one has received poisonous skin and blue eyes, it has yet to finally accept that it will be used for mixed chemicals. NOTE: The chemicals were compromised, and it had escaped not only did it get help, but it is always a step ahead." Isabella looked up at them, "Do you think it was a person?" Kieko shook her head, "We aren't going to stay to figure it out right?" Isabella shook her head, "No... We need to get going, if they find this is gone, they know we know." Kyler gave a small smirk, "That's what we want though, right?" Isabella stood stuffing the file into her bag, "We want them scared and confused." Her mask followed her lips, "Let's go find Bowe and Rose... They should be closer than Sammy, we don't say anything to them until we are back at base; understood?" Isabella was taller than all the girls, so it was easy for the others to get intimidated but other times it didn't work, "Let's get going before -" There were footsteps down the hallway, "Kiki?" "They're down the first hallway we can get out by that door across the room, factories like this always have another door in each room." Isabella nodded and pulled her pack on as the girls did the same. They moved quickly but quietly as they ran to their exit, Isabella got them out as fast as she could before taking the spray paint can from her back pocket and stripped the inside of the door. It was messy but it was smart, "Think they're in here!" Isabella shut the door and pushed the girls forward, they all ran.
