Mavis pov

'so Mavis I know I haven't seen you in years but its cools if tomorrow if I go with my friend to hang out,' Raul asked me as I was pulling out a card game to play with him.

'uh yea that's fine by me,' I tell him pretty bumbed out.

I put a smile on my face and pulled out a deck of cards.

'ill beat your butt on speed,' I told him.

'Your on big sister' He tells me sitting right in his seat.

I layed it out right when I heard the doorbell ring.

'Jack will you get it pleaseeee?' I yelled because Jack wasn't in the living room with us.

'Got it,' I heard him say as she ran towards the door.

'Ill shuffle,' Raul told me.

I handed him the deck and grabbed my phone to record him.

'Disss myyy littleee broooother,' I said as recorded him looking up from the deck and giving me a cheeky smile making me laugh.

'Okay okay you ready??' He asked as I nodded and ended the video.

Jacks pov

I ran towards the door to see who it was and I opened it to see Madison Beer.

'Why didn't yo-' She started but I cut her off and then looked behind me to make sure Mavis or Raul didn't see or hear anything.

I walked out and lcosed the door behind me and then looked up at her.

'What the hell are you doing here?' I asked her crossing my arms infront of my chest.

'Like I said before I need your help Jack,' She told me as she looked all around her.

'Look, My lifes perfect right now and I don't need you here,' I told her.

'I really need your help Jack you said that you'd be here for me no matter what,' She said grabbing my arm, stopping me from going inside.

'That was when i didnt know what kind of things you were up to!' I yelled whispered.

'Jack please just take me in for a while until they stop looking look please,' She begged me and as she said that the door opened.

I turned around to see Mavis.

'Is everything okay out here?' She asked as Raul peeked his head to see outside.

'Yea everything is fine,' I told her as I looked back at Madison.

'Do you need a place to sleep?' Mavis asked her.

I looked over at Madison and gave her that look that said "don't do it"

'If its okay with you guys,' Madison said making me roll my eyes.

'No its not okay with us I'm ganna have to ask you to leave,' I told her slightly pushing her away from us.

'forget Jack come on in,' Mavis told her walking to her and putting her arm around her and pulling her inside giving me the 'what the fuck is your problem' look.

I followed them inside and they went into the living room.

'I'm Madison Beer,' She said as I took a seat near Raul.

'I'm Mavis, How do you know Jack?' She asked her making me answer for her.

'Just an old friend,' I told her making Madison look at me then go mute.

'Oh well hi I'm Jacks girlfriend and that's my little brother Raul,' Mavis said to her making her just nod.

'Ill get you some clothes ill be back,' She said noticing how her clothes were really thin and it was cold.

'So how did you and Jack meet?' Raul asked trying to put a conversation into this awkward moment.

'Uh school, nothing special,' Madison told him as she shrugged.

'Yea nothing Special,' I added making her look down and play with her hands.

'Can I talk

'can I talk to you for a moment?' Madison asked me making me just nod and walk to the hallway as she followed me.

'I know I shouldn't have told Mavis I wanted to stay here and just know that I'm so thankful and shes so precious but yea I'm being selfish but its for my survival. Jack you have to understand that!' She said raising her voice slightly.

'You need to understand that if Mavis or my baby or lay a hand on Raul I will turn you in myself and if they do wish to kill you, I swear I will do it for them,' I growled at her.

She just swallowed the lump she had in her throat.

'Where are they?' I heard Mavis ask.

'They went to go talk,' Raul answered.

'Go ahead and enjoy yourself here,' I tell her with a fake smile and then go to my room.
