Jacks pov

'Uh hi Raul, ummm how do you know Mavis?' I asked standing in front of her getting a weird feeling.

'How could I forget my own sister,' he says and then Mavis pushes me out the way and they hug.

He's taller so it's that kinda hug with his arms around her shoulders.

He had light brown hair and dressed nice I guess. He sorta dressed like Matt with the vans, khakis, and beanies.

They kept hugging until they finally pulled away.

'How the hell are you here?' Mavis asked him pulling him back into a hug.

'I'm 15 now,' he said but Mavis cut him off.

'Of course. I didn't forget. Your birthdays next Monday,' she tells him wiping her face from the tears.

'Well yea and my parents let me come and see you,' he told her as he came inside and sat on the couch.

'Wait you knew were I was?!' She asked him.

'Of course. When I turned 15 they said they would let me come and see you if I knew where you were so I had to find you,' he explains.

'Whatever. Mavis please please please find someway that I can stay with you. I don't like them. They always have sex and smoke and drink and I just don't like it,' he tells her about to cry.

'Oh fuck no your staying with me,' she said getting up and grabbing her phone.

Fuck. This house was meant for me and Mavis. Not her brother.

'Who are you calling?' He asked.

'My friend. Her dads a lawyer. He should be able to do something about this,' she said and started talking to her friend.

Which meant is was just me and her brother.

'Hi. I'm Raul. Mavis younger brother,' he tells me making me nod and get up to shake his hand.

'I'm Jack Gilinsky,' I tell him sitting back down.

'Are you her boyfriend?' He asked.

'Uh I Havnt really asked her so like we're official but yea I guess we are dating,' I tell him.

'Oh so uh who's house is this?' He asked looking around.

'Uh mine,'

'Oh cool so what do you do for a living?' He asked me.

'What?' I asked him.

'This is a nice house. Do you pay the bills?' He says.

'Uh my parents do. they're good with money,' I explain to him.

'Ooooo okay. Does Mavis have a job around here?'

'Uh no not really,' I tell him.

'So what do you guys do most of the time?' He asked.

'Uh just hang out,' I answer.

He just nodded.

'So how's Mavis?' He asked.

Damn this boy with questions.

'Fine,' I tell him nodded.

'Is she doing better?' He asked grabbing my attention.

'What do you mean?' I asked him.

'Like has she stopped hurting herself? Does she sleep better at night? Has she stopped having those nightmares?' He tells me.

'What are you talking about?' I asked him like he's stupid.

'You don't know?' He asked me looking to see if Mavis was coming but she wasn't.

'She had these terrible terrible nightmares. She didn't tell me the people she saw she just told me what she saw. That these guys would try to push her over the same bridge that my mom died and it was just terrible and they would try to pull her into it and once they actually did drown her in her dream. She woke up in the ICU because she had a heart attack,' he tells me sitting back in his seat.

'These guys?' I asked thinking if it was me, skate, and Sammy.

'Yea she never told me the names but yea. Has she got better?' He asked me.

'Much better,' I said looking at the floor.

'WERE GOING TO COURT IN A WEEK!' Mavis yelled as she came into the living room and then hugged Raul.

I just sat there watching them be all sibling goals.

'Mavis your getting fat!' He said laughing but making me and Mavis go mute.

'What?' He asked noticing us.

I just looked at Mavis to see what I should do but she just stayed quiet.

'What's wrong?' He asked again.

'Uh,' I started not really sure what to say.

'W-wait. Are you pregnant?' He asked with a smile on his face.

She just nodded slowly.

'O-oh my fucking gosh! This is amazing!' He yelled and went to hug Mavis but she hit his head making me laugh.

'What?' He asked rubbing his head.

'Don't cuss at me boy!' She told him and then laughed and brought him into a hug.

'You better be the dad Jack,' Raul said making me laugh.

'Oh boy you know it!' I said getting and getting into the hug.
