I sigh as I lean over and slap my alarm clock. I don't want to get up, I don't want to face the world, I don't want to give Adrien his birthday present and I do not want to tease Marionette on her crush. I gasp and sit up with a start. It's Adrien's birthday! I throw off my covers and cringe as my bare feet hit the cold floor. Bearing the cold, I scramble over to my closet and look at my selection. I gaze and my somewhat small selection and  finally choose on an outfit. I slip on a short  sleeve, white shirt and a red vest that goes to the my waist. I pull on a pale purple skirt and some black capri legging and I start ruffling through my sock drawer.

My stomach growls in protest and I slowly stand up and trod across my room to my desk, my one bare foot and one socked making small pitter patter noises. I lean down and open my mini fridge, pulling out a bag of carrots. I grab one out of the bag as I walk over to my bed.

I sit down and start snacking on a carrot as I slip on my other sock. I grab my red rain boots and pull those on as well. With all my clothes on, I quickly walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth. As soon as I finish that, I messily braid my long, messy red/purple hair into two long braids. My hair reaches my bottom, which is surprising because I'm only fifteen. I look into the mirror and clip back on side of my hair with a black hair clip and I stare at the right side. Someone at school cut one half of my bang off so one is longer than the other. I sigh and grab two extra hairbands incase the ones in my hair brake.
I start thinking about my YouTube channel. I just reached 500,000 and I still can't believe it! Real people decided to subscribe to me. All those amazing people whom I love each with my heart. The little bun-bun family on the Kawaii bun-bun channel.
My freckled face has a grin on it as I walk out of my bathroom. I place Adrien's gift into my book bag, making sure it's safe. I put my pale purple headphones around my neck as I walk into the kitchen and grab a croissant. I walk over to my doorway and glance at the empty house. I'm glad my Uncle provides me money to live with.

I grab my skateboard and walk outside, locking the door behind me. I throw down my skateboard and hop on, plugging my headphones into my phone. As I skate along and listen to music I also eat my croissant. I just hope I don't choke, I think to myself as my emerald eyes stare at the road ahead of me.

About 15 minutes later, I arrive at school. It is quite a large school and it seems to be in the shape of a box. I shake my head as I arrive at the bottom of the stairs. I put my headphones around my neck and grab my skateboard as I walk up the stairs, but not before I hear a familiar voice.

I whip around to see Adrien talking to his best friend, Nino. I grin, their backs are to me. I quietly put my skateboard down and step lightly as I grow near. Finally, I lunge forward and grab onto Adrien's back, like a piggy back.

"What the heck?" He yells, confused. He starts spinning in circles, trying to see who is on his back, but to no gain. I glance over to see Nino laughing at Adrien's struggle. I giggle and drop off his back.

"Lily! You silly goose." He ruffles my hair and smiles. I grin back and quickly hand him my gift. "Open it." I command him. He smiles and Nino leans over his shoulder to see what it was. He rips off the purple and blue wrapping to see a shoe box. I looks up to me confused, but I just wave down to the box. He pulls open the lid and sees a black bowler hat with little cat ears on the top. He told me he likes cats once, so I decided on cats.

"Wow Lily, this is great!" He says as he looks over the hat. On the inside is a tag that says 'To Adrien. Happy Birthday to the dorkiest cousin there is!' I grin. "I'm so glad you like it. I hope you like cats because I couldn't think of any good animal and you told me you liked them once and also you should thank Marionette too because she taught me how to make a hat and helped me make this and really this gift is from both of us and-" I get cut off my Adrien putting his hand on my head with his smug grin. "I love it Lily. I'll also have to be sure to thank Marionette because this hat is fabulous!"
