Chapter 3

"Well, That was quite a show Miss Lim. I was really impressed by your skills. Perhaps you would like to join me, lyka and these two later at detention."

I turned around to face where the voice was coming from. I had to defend myself. This is totally not my fault!

"What? But she provoked me. I was totally.." - Got Cut Off

"Make that 3 days of detention." The woman that seems to be in her mid forties gave me a grin.

"I am professor Linda Dayrit, And I expect you to be on your best behavior during my class Andrea. After all, you wouldnt want to upset your mother's best friend would you?"

I was totally puzzled. Nung nabubuhay pa ang mommy she always makes me come sa mga shopping trips nila abroad ng mga friends niya. How come, I never met this woman?

"You two. Help Ms. Sayson and dalhin niyo siya sa Clinic."

Parang robot naman na sumunod yung dalawang baboons na yun. Ng makalabas sila muling nagsalita ang prof.

"Now that's settled please turn your books at page 3. We will be learning about the history of Ethics.."

Lumilipad yung isip ko the whole discussion. I was startled when the bell rang. Madali akong lumabas, I dont want to spend another minute in that hellhole.

"Okay. 1st period didnt go that well, Pero lets be positive. Chemistry next subject ko and maybe mga geeks and nerds classmates ko dun so I'll have no problem."

Dumiretso ako sa Science lab. There was an empty seat at the back of the room and since Im not really interested at Science stuff I think this is a perfect place for me the next semester. I was 15 minutes early for the class so I decided to take a nap.

Fuck yes, I love sleep. Ilang minutes palang akong nakakatulog ng may kumalabit sakin.

"Miss, Thats my seat." He flashed me a sweetest smile. God, How I wanted to punch him in the face. I dont really go for good boys. They bore me.

"Not anymore." I said coldly.

"Hahahaha. Okay, you can take that seat today since youre new here."

"Right." Bumalik ako sa pagtulog. Naramdaman kong umupo siya sa right side ko.

"So.. Im Ryan by the way. You must be Andrea."

Wth? Is this goodygood shoes trying to make small talk?

"No its Drei."

"Ah. Pleasure to meet you."

"Yeah, sure. Whatever."

Saktong dumating na ang prof.

"I was told that we are having a new student today. Whoever that is please stand up."

I hate awkward introductions. Especially when everybodys jugding you as you do it.

"Fuck this." Sabi ko in a really low voice at mukhang narinig ako ng mokong nato at tinawanan pako.

"Please introduce and say something about yourself."

"Im Andrea Lim, 17 years old and I want to cut all you fucking heads off and feed them to pigs while I laugh dramatically while watching them."

That was what I wanted to say. But baka ipadala nila ako sa asylum kung sinabi ko.

"The name is Andrea Lim, And I prefer to be called Drei. 17 years young and I love food. I hope we all get along well. Peace."

Ok. That was effin lame of me. But what the fuck, Wala naman akong paki sa iisipin netong mga to sakin.

"Okay Ms. Andrea.."

Wtf? Kakasabi ko lang na Drei eh.

"I am Mr. Ben cruz. 25% lang ang kabaitan ko at nahahati pa yun sa isang linggo. If you want to pass this class I just have a simple rule. Always bring your book. Kung sino man ang makalimot will not be attending the class that day. Which reminds me here's yours."

He handed me a 5 inch book.

"Is he serious? Wth no. Parang nagpipinetensya ako nyan arawaraw."

Tumawa nanaman yung katabi ko. Tinignan ko siya.

"Whats funny?"

"Nothing. Youre just really odd." Tumatawa parin siya.

"Oh yeah? And youre really pissing me off." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, since first day palang naman you may now go. Class dismissed."

Tumayo ako agad at tinapon sa trash bin yung libro. Sakto namang lumabas din yung seatmate ko. Agad siyang sinalubong ng mga babae.

"Hi Ryan, Hows summer?"

"Ryan, Patutor naman. Im having trouble sa trigo e."

"Lets have lunch naman today Ry."

"Ry you said you'll call me diba?"

Psh. Anong meron? Santo ba yun dito? Ang OA pa nung isa. Patutor daw kakastart lang ng klase. Flirt! Sus. Dumiretso ako sa cafeteria. Nakita ko si Lyka na nakaupo sa isang lunch table na napapaligiran ng "peers" niya. I dont really want to deal with her right now. Kaya pumunta nalang ako sa field and smoked.

"Babe youre on my spot."

Siya. Siya yung kaninang lalake sa parking lot. Bakit parang lahat ng spot or seat na gusto ko taken na dito.

"Well we can always compromise right? Babe?" Emphasis on the babe.

He laughed and seated beside me.
