Quickly regaining her ground, Lucia did a backhand spring to avoid getting kicked to the ground.

"Stand still already!" Carlee' yelled.

Lucia swept her tail along the ground and looked around her as the crowd kept shouting their approval of the scene. She looked back at Carlee' who was now charging at her at full speed. She dropped and rolled out of the way just before Carlee had the chance to make contact.

"Get away!" she yelled, leaping into the air and grabbing a branch with her tail, swinging herself around it to a crouching stance in the tree.

She was now panting and her legs felt as if they were on fire. Climbing higher up the tree, she suddenly felt something crashing against her side. In the midst of her confusion, she'd realized that she was now on the ground, looking up at the tree. Carlee's foot had found her face while she was was still dazed. Through blurred vision, she quickly turned onto her stomach, slashing at Carlee's ankles. She kept to the ground and quickly scurried backwards, backing into a tree. One of Carlee's flunkies, Nilanhy, took the opportunity to grab her by her hair and smash her face into the ground. Covering her face, she began growling and roaring as loud as she could.

"Get the hell away from me!" she screamed as she sat upright in her bed. Panting and sweating, Lucia let out a small whimper and shook her head, trying to get her eyes to focus. She slowly slid out of bed and walked over to the mirror, cringing at the sight of her so-called "stripes" that she'd still not gotten accustomed to, mind the fact she'd had them since birth. Luckily, she knew a meditation spell that let her hide them until night. She sighed and sat against the wall meditating  until she was sure they were securely hidden beneath the surface. She opened her eyes slowly and got back up, walking over to the messy dresser in search of a brush. Snow white hair sprawled about her head.

'Ew', she thought, brushing it until it was decent once more.

She loved the way she looked without her stripes. Taking in her appearance in the mirror, her messy shoulder length hair and gray eyes that stood out easily against her light brown skin. It was at least better than her previous 'look'. With a sigh, she finished dressing up and slipped out into the morning.

Lucia ran down the hallways into classroom 204, managing to make it just as the bell rang.

"Here.. I'm here." she panted.

She looked around the classroom, walking over to take her seat at an empty table. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see a group of girls snickering and staring at her. Shooting a quick glare at them, they quieted down a bit.

"Awesome hair color! Where'd you get the dye, I can't find that shade anywhere!" came a shrill voice.

She glanced upward. The overly enthusiastic girl had now found herself standing at her side, reaching a hand out to touch Lucia's hair. She jerked her head back when she saw her hand coming towards her.

"It's my natural hair color." she grunted.

Being completely used to and bored of the questions that came with moving to a new school, she had already become fed up with the people here. This was the 7th school in the past 3 years. The strange girl snorted and walked away. Suddenly hearing whispers and gasps, she started to get nervous. 'Had my stripes started showing again?' she questioned to herself.
