If something's a bit confusing to read than the rest of the lot then just tell me and I'll be sure to change it when I can.

Laundry day. He always hated laundry day, his mother always made me do it.

"Mom, where do you want me to put your clothes?" he asked.

She always had a different spot to put them in since she could never keep her room tidy for more than a few hours. She ran out of the bathroom, her brown curls bouncing with every step.

"Oh just put them anywhere honey, you could put them on the ceiling for all I care!" she smiled and her brown eyes shone more anticipation and enthusiasm than he'd seen in a long time.

"I take it you're going to visit dad again?" he asked.

She nodded franticly. Sabbith's father was always working so he was never actually here with us. It was on rare occasions did he come visit and his mother was always happy to recieve word from him, asking her to visit him in the other relm. He shook my head and smiled, it was a sight to see his mother this happy. He hugged her tightly.

"Take care then, tell dad I said hi for me."

"You know, you could always come with me." she said looking hopeful.

He shook his head. He was never very fond of change, he liked it here and wanted to stay here. He'd see him when next he came. Sabbith walked back into his room and began sorting out his clothes.

"What's this.." A memory came to mind that brought a smile to his face.

"Oh shit, it's raining."

"It's not raining yet, it's just starting to rain." Just as she said it, it started pouring. She looked up at the sky smiling.

"Lucia, what are you doing? You're gonna catch a cold."

"So? I like it out here!"

"That's great and all but we should head back in."

I shook my hair out of my face, I hated how my hair was when it got wet, it always fell in my face. I absolutely hate it.

She continued to twirl. "The rain was always my escape from there. My mother would only let me out on rainy days to play in the rain. She said it was cleansing for 'filth like me'."

She'd forgotten her clothes at his house that day. He sighed. He really did miss her. Maybe this could give him an excuse to visit her then? He wasn't exactly sure if she'd stick around to talk but at least he could see her again.

It'd been a few days since she'd come to class. Could she have been avoiding him? Xero walked into the class and up to the teacher, whispering something to him. As he turned to walk out, Sabbith called to him.

"Xero, wait!" he stood up and walked over to him.

"What?" Sabbith could sense the hostility in his voice. He was right, something had happened.

"Can I speak to you outside?" he asked.

Xero hesitated before nodding and followed him outside the classroom.

"What the hell do you want?" he asked.

"Is Lucia ok? She hasn't been here in a few days and she's been avoiding me like the plague since before that, not that I could blame her."
