For three months, she was stuck in bed while he went to school. At night he would curl up with her but by morning, he was gone. She was left alone with all the plushies he'd gotten her so I wouldn't be so lonely. Her favorites were the custom made white tiger and black and red Cerberus plushies. Her brother would come and visit daily to wash and check up on her. It was nice for him to come around so often. She missed being under the same roof as him but it was definitely better here than home. She sighed and thought back to when she'd first moved here.

She awakened in bed, alone. Still unable to speak, she whimpered and looked around frantically.

"About time you woke up."

Sabbith stood in the door way, his tie unfixed and his hair still unbrushed. She smiled and cocked her head to the side slightly. He walked over and kissed her forehead, lightly hugging her. He then pulled something out of his pocket and handed to her.

"Almost forgot, I got this for you while you were sleeping. It's a new phone so you can just text to communicate with me until your voice gets better. Also, it's touch screen so you won't have to press down too hard on anything."

Excited, she pressed the home button on my new iPhone. It was a picture of them together. He was sitting down with her, ironically, black and white striped hat with the tiger ears and his tongue was out. She stood behind him and was kissing his cheek. She looked up from the phone with an arched eyebrow and a smile. He simply rolled his eyes and ruffled her hair.

"Look, I'm gonna go fix my hair and then head off to school, ok?" he said, fixing his tie.

Before he could go she grunted and shook her head. Quickly typing a message, she showed him the phone. He smirked.

"Fine, I'll keep my bed hair if you love it so much." Her face went bright red. "Be good, ok? I'll be home soon. Text me if you need me." he said before walking out of the room. She waved as he left and listened to the door close as he exited the house.

She sat in her wheelchair, bouncing slightly in anticipation. It would be her first day back to school. Because she was supposed to be resting, Sabbith only allowed her to go half a day. He'd come and pick her up on lunch breaks and she'd stay with him there to ease her boredom. The mucus in her lungs had cleared out a bit more and she was finally able to form sentences, though her voice was still barely audible.

"Can we go now?" She asked as Sabbith slipped on her left shoe.

"Why are you so happy about school anyways? I'd kill to get a day off. You've had 3 months. Feel special."

"I was bored here without you. But now you're here and I do feel special, now push!"

He sighed and she giggled as he began to wheel her out towards the school. Upon arriving, she was greeted by all of their friends and they rushed to hug her.

"Nice to see your face around here again." a voice came from off the side.

"Fenris!" she called out. Of course he couldn't really hear her but she'd assumed he'd be able to read her lips. Unable to run to him, she wheeled myself over and he hugged her. "Good to see you again." she smiled.

He patted my head and looked up to Sabbith who, more or less, glared at him. She sighed. He seemed more tolerant. The bell rang. She waved to Fenris and the others as Sabbith wheeled her to his next class. He didn't really trust anyone else to watch over her while in her own class and, since she wasn't really supposed to be in school, he took her with him. Everyone there looked shocked to see her. Sabbith rolled her to the table and sat down in his own chair. She hid her stripes easily, however I had to hide her ears under her hair and her tail in a dress. She sat there idly, listening to whispers around the classroom about rumors of her being dead. It made her uncomfortable.
