Today I'm getting discharged from the hospital and Liam and I get to go home..

I've been thinking about when Jon came to visit me and Liam and how it looks like Liam resembled Jon.. I look at Liam every time he wakes up to see if my eyes deceived me...

I'm pretty sure they did.. I think it was just the fact a year ago I wanted a family with Jon and now we've been divorced for almost a month or two..

In all reality Liam looks like Nick.. I don't know what happened to me when Jon held Liam.. I guess a part of me isn't over him , but the fact of the matter is, I'm in love with Nick and we have a family together...

I know I have my doubts so I know what I have to do.. I have to do exactly what Jon wanted a few weeks ago, a paternity test....

While Nick was gone I called someone who took care of those and a called Jon to come up to the hospital and get swabbed. When he left , Nick returned..

"What's this?"

"Just let them swab you.. It's just for certainty"

"Certainty about who Liam's father is?"

I nodded.

They swabbed little Liam and left with the swabs in different baggies.

"I respect you double checking"

"I have to.. I don't want my eyes to deceive me like they did before.."

"Yeah.. Wait.. What?"

"Yesterday Jon came up to see me and Liam and he held Liam and my eyes were playing tricks on me and it looked as if Liam resembled Jon , but today I'm okay I'm not tired and I can think clearly and Liam looks like well.. You."

"So we'll know the results in two weeks?"

"Yep"

Nick took a deep breath..

I got up grabbed my clothes and walked to the bathroom to put them on.

When I walked out Nick had Liam in his carrier and the bags in hand.

A nurse arrived with a wheelchair to wheel me out of the hospital, but I didn't think it was necessary..

"Ma'am it's for your health purposes. You gave birth two days ago and you're still tender down there so-"

"Okay just stop don't say anything else I'll sit in the wheelchair"

When Nick and I arrived home Liam was awake and attempting to smile..

"We're home little man." Nick put the car in park

I got out of the car and got Liam.

"Babe do you want me to get him?" Nick asked as he got out of the car

"No I'm fine.. Let me carry my son in the house." I grabbed the diaper bag and started toward the door

"Alright sassy" Nick said grabbing the other bags

"Stop while you're ahead" I rolled my eyes and unlocked the door

I walked into the nursery and laid Liam down in his crib.

Nick came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Look at our beautiful son.."

"We did a good job.."

"Yeah.. We really did."

"So you think he's mine?"

"Yeah.. I really do..I just wanna be positive though.."

"That's understandable"

"I love you.."

"I love you too."

Nick pecked my lips..

I turned on the baby monitor and left the nursery to go relax on the couch...

I really didn't have a lot of doubt in my mind that Liam wasn't Nick's..
