Switched

Every girl dream to have a prince. A prince who will love her with all his heart. Yung ka happily ever after niya. Yung makakasama sa saya, lungkot at sa mga pagdadaanan nila. Finding your right prince is not easy, hindi mo alam kung kelan siya dadating. Kaya ako masaya ako nung nakilala ko si Dustin. Our meeting was unexpected and I never knew that our fate will bump to each other.

I prefer classical music but one time my friend Kyla invited me for a charity music event but the genre of music is "Rock". Since she is my friend, even though I don't like that kind of music I intended to go since it's for charity. The place is crowded and loud that my mind is battling if it's really a charity event. When, the countdown started, signaling the band will start to play, my eyes darted to the guy at the center. He looked so adorably hot with his fitted pants and black V-neck shirt matched with his messy brown hair. When he started to strum the guitar and played a guitar stunt, I felt like my feet were glued to the ground and my eyes were just made for him. He was incredibly stunning when he started to sing. The choice of the song is so loud and crazy but he gave justice to it, like the song is made only just for him. Iyon yung unang nakita ko siya at hindi ko na siya makalimutan noon.

I asked my friend about that vocalist and said that his name is Dustin and he is her "close friend" and "neighbor". Things happened fast that Dustin and I actually became friends when Kyla introduced me to him when I was in Kyla's house. Dustin and Kyla's brother are close friends that is why he always hang up in her place. I've been in their gigs and little shows and my taste in music changed as well. I was so stunned when one time at their gig, Dustin said that the song is dedicated to a girl who he secretly love, I felt jealous and somewhat wished that I'm that girl. Kyla needed to slap me before I snapped back to reality because I 'am the girl that Dustin love. He confessed to me when he was singing a sweet song and stride in front of me as he kneel, asking if I could be his girlfriend. That is the best day of my life.

"Lia, may tumatawag sayo." Sabi sa akin ni Fey na kaklase ko sa Software Programming

"Ay, sige thank you."

Agad-agad akong lumabas at tiningnan kung sino yung sinabi ni Fey na naghahanap sa akin. I saw a guy with a polished hair up do and he is wearing a gray hoodie with a bag hanging on his left shoulder.

"Hey? I'm Lia. Do you need something from me?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Ano...." Bigla siyang huminga ng malalim at hinawakan ang batok niya. He seem nervous and unwell.

We were silent for a few seconds but he broke the silence when he breathed deep and drag me to the corridor. Asa 3rd floor kami at may itinuro siya sa baba.

"Boyfriend mo oh."

My eyes immediately found him, Dustin, and my heart skipped a bit when I saw him with a girl on his lap. They are sweet and he is whispering to her that made them so close to each other. Anger and jealousy flooded in to my mind but all I think about is that why is this stranger beside me know that my boyfriend is flirting with someone?

"Kilala mo yung kasama niya?" I asked him

"Oo." He answered but didn't turn to face me because his gaze were locked on the scene of betrayal of my great boyfriend.

"Sino siya?"

"Girlfriend ko."

Nung tiningnan ko siya, yung mukha niya ay apaka lungkot. Nakatingin pa din siya sa girlfriend niya at kitang-kita yung sakit na nararamdaman niya. "The feeling is mutual", that are the words that I want to say to him because it is the same thing and pain that I' am feeling at that very moment when I saw my boyfriend with another girl. I thought everything is perfect between us but it was all a lie. Yung tipong akala ko siya na talaga pero hindi pala.
