- chapter 23 -
Jason had me in the parking lot, pulling me slightly by my hand.
"Let go of me" I ordered
"I'll do, thanks" he snickered
I rolled my eyes and just tried catching my pace again.. We got to his bright red Ferrari and he pushed me inside closing the door behind me
When he got in the car I was on disbelief and couldn't stop staring
"What are you planning to do with me?" I snapped
"Gonna eat something somewhere, then gonna go out" he smiled as he started his cars engine.
"Listen up! If its a set-up date then cancel it now before your rejected or ditched" I warned then just looked out the window..
I like Jason. I can't hide that. But just realising how much of a flirt he is and how much he moves from one girl to another like their all in the queue waiting makes me sick. It makes me regret even knowing him. I can't have someone playing with my mind, lying to my eyes and spitting in my face.
If he leaves its not the end of my story cause it'll just be the end of his story in my life.
After about thirty minutes of silent driving we reached a red boufet store and my eyes followed the sign.
'RED CANADIAN'
"I love it here, I come here a lot often.. It's a place I can forget everything and concentrate on the food I eat, the menu of meals are like Canada's, the place I come from.." He smiled slightly as he stared at the sign.
"I-I'm a Canadian too" I said.
"Really?" His eyes lit up
"Yeah" I said as I glanced at the place
"I miss Canada, my childhood friends, my ex and everyone who use to be with me including my family, it's hard leaving the place your use to all your life" I explained.
"I understand" he said
I know he has a story hiding behind the brick wall in his cover.
This isn't Jason.
Not the Jason I see overall.
I can see he's hiding his shadow behind the cloud blocking his sun..
I had a tear fall out of the corner of my eye.
Only when we both realised it..
I didn't want it to, it just came during my thoughts from Canada.
"Grace?" Jason asked a bit brokenly
"I'm fine Jason, lets go" I said and got out the car, we walked inside and sat as we grabbed a menu each.
A bleach blonde lady walked over, a full on waitress.
She walked with the happiest fake smile.
I narrowed my eyes at her, she's a fishy creature, I don't like low life faggots which is exactly what I judge her as! I hate judging but hey... She doesn't look right..
"Welcome to red Canadian stand, anything you'd like to order?" She asked in a squeaky voice that I'd be able to cover my ears since its too annoying.
"A meal of Canadian pasta with the Brazilian sauce spread" Jason smiled as he gulped and scanned her down..
"And you?" She asked with a straight face as she turned to me.
"Same for me" I said harshly.
"Drinks?" She licked her lips at Jason.
