(A/N): Honey, if I owned Hetalia PruCan would be canon.

Gilbert's POV:

Winter passes, and Matthew and Gilbert have grown close, maybe even to "bestie level", as Francis would call it.

"Gil!" Called the Canadian, who was standing on his porch. Despite it being Spring, the Canadian insists on wearing a giant red hoodie, accompanied by a faded pair of jeans. Gilbert, on the other hand, was wearing a black t-shirt with the words "chicks dig me" written in white and a yellow bird, (who was comically flipping the bird), and a gray pair of shorts that went just beyond the albino's knee.

"Hey Mattie!" Gilbert called back, approaching the soft-spoken Canadian. "How's my favorite Canadian today?"

"F-Favorite? But aren't I the only Canadian you know?" Matthew teased. "and I'm doing great actually, I just got a letter from my brother!"

"Brother?" Gilbert titled his head to the side. "but I thought Francis found you in the woods?"

"Yeah, but I had parents before that!" Matthew chuckled. "his name is Alfred, he's aboot two years older than- hey, what's so funny?" Gilbert was practically rolling on the ground in a fit of his sugar-high snake laughter.

"A..... A..... boot!" Gilbert managed in between fits.

"Shut up!" a blush spread across the Canadians face.

"I'm sorry Mattie, but it's just so.... cute! Kesesesese!"

"C-Cute?" Matthew tugged on the edge of the sleeve of his sweater. Gilbert realized what he said and covered his mouth, the laughter suddenly vanishing. But soon enough, the- rather cocky- albino's hand left his mouth, only to reveal a devilish smirk.

"Yeah, cute," Gilbert challenged. "Problem?"

"I- er..... no, I guess not."

"Damn straight," Gilbert slipped on a pair of shades he pulled out of literally no where, only to remove them immediately. "Now, about your brother?"

"Right, after I moved here, I did some digging, and I found out my parents had another son before me, and well I met him a few years ago, and we haven't really been in contact since the first time we met.... but he said he wants to see me! He's actually supposed to be here later today," Matthew was practically shaking in happiness.

'You should smile more,' Gilbert thought. 'It suits you'

"I just have one question."

"Hm?" Matthew raised an eyebrow.

"Why the hell did he send you a letter? Why can't you just text like any other individual?"

"W-Well.... I don't exactly have a cell phone to text, besides a sucky flip phone," Matthew admitted, twisting his sleeve tighter in his hand.

"Why not?"

"Well I don't exactly have a reason to have a fancy phone, so I just didn't get one, plus I only have one friend outside of the three of you," the Canadian gestured to the trio's shared home. Gilbert absent-mindedly grabbed Matthew's shoulders, looking him in the eye.

"Well, we're going to have to change that, aren't we?" Gilbert stated, revcieving a warm smile from Matthew.

"Yeah, good luck with that," the blonde wriggled out of the albino's grip, chuckling slightly. "now, do you want to come inside? I'll make pancakes."

"Do you really have to ask?" Gilbert was about to walk into the door of his smaller friend's house, when he was interrupted by the roaring of a large red truck pulling into said house's driveway. Matthew immediately rushed to the vehicle, leaving Gilbert completely dumbfounded.
