Mason-

"Mason wait!" Daniel yelled out running after me as I ran through the forest quickly, I inhaled deeply following the strong scent feeling my heart racing.

'Please be her. Please be her' I begged the gods as I followed the scent.

I heard a girl whimper making Jace howl, "Mason!" Daniel barked but I ignored him. I ran towards the crying girl and stopped as she was hugging herself as she limped.

I growled lowly smelling the blood on her, she stopped in her tracks nervously and slowly turned around seeing me. "Oh god" she whispered going to run but Jace barked at her. She yelped loudly tripping over the tree roots and looked at me wide eyed, I walked to her quickly and she cried or covering her face bracing for impact but I just smelled her clothes looking at the blood stains.

I quickly shifted back into human form and glared at her as she slowly looked up at me shaking in fear. "Whose blood is that?" I growled making her frown, "What?" She whispered making me growl walking closer.

"Please don't hurt me!" She cried out crawling backwards. "I said, whose blood is that?" I growled out making her gulp.

"A friend of mine... I think" she mumbled sitting there looking down at her clothes. I walked to her quickly and grabbed her arm roughly making her stand up. She helped at my tight grip and I growled smelling the scent all over her.

"Please" she whispered with tears in her eyes. "Where is she?! Where is Jordyn?!" I barked in her face making her frown. "How do you know her name?" She whispered making me growl.

"Answer me!" I roared loudly making her cry out, "she was taken back to the mansion! I think. I was unconscious while it happened so I don't know" She whispered.

"Where is the mansion?" I growled tightening my grip on her sweater, "Mason! don't hurt her!" We heard and I looked at Daniel as he stood there glaring at me.

"Mason! You're Mason?!" She said wide eyed and I just looked at her growling lowly, "you actually came! I knew you would come! I told her you would!" She cried out happily making me frown.

"Jordyn. She told me everything about you. She almost gave up on you but I told her you would come" She whispered with tears in her eyes.

"Mason" Daniel said sternly making me growl.

"Why is her blood on you?" I growled out tightening my grip around her making her gulp, "we were escaping from the mansion through the tunnels when a man came out of nowhere and grabbed her. I went to push him off because he was hurting her but something made me paralyzed like an invisible force or something. He threw me back with..." She frowned thinking.

She stood there silently frowning in confusion then her eyes widened in realisation.

"Oh my god" She whispered wide eyed "he's here! The demon is here! That's who the man was!" She said wide eyed making me tense. "He was supposed to be here within a month!"

"Avedima changed it. Jordyn was fighting back and he like that. He didn't trust her so he made the process faster and made the demon come quicker. He's here now" She said and I let her go quickly.

FUCK!" I roared making her flinch, "are you hurt anywhere?" Daniel asked her politely walking to her. "I'm okay now... I... I think her blood healed me" She whispered looking down at herself. "It was glowing when I woke up" She said looking at him as I paced back and forth.
