The Relic

Chapter One

I sighed sitting in my makeshift house. All of the past weeks flooded to mind. My eyes closed. We were now on an island, Hyria told me that I could find many things about Irene on the island... I will find out. As long as this settlement holds up we should be fine... I sighed and stood up. I walked to Lilith's crib and looked at her. I will make this settlement a happy place for her. I will let her live a happy childhood. Hopefully there wont be alot of distractions from that. I smiled as I watched her sleep. I would be her mother. But in reality her mother is dead... I sighed and walked into the forest. My eyes drifting at the scenery. It was beautiful... but it felt all to familiar. I dont know how to explain it. I let my feet guide me. If I got into any danger I would protect myself because Im capable. I soon let my mind wander. Ugh I miss Garroth so much. I miss his voice... I miss him in general. I wonder when I can see him again. I hope its soon, I want to talk to him, badly. I soon felt a tear slip fown my cheek as I remembered he had sacrificed himself so I can escape the dimension. Now he's frozen in time. With him. I sighed and leaned up against a tree. I watched the grass ripple with the wind. Leaves fell from the trees too and flowers tainted some of the ground nearbye. I closed my eyes and... dozed off.

I gasped at the sight. Fire. I see it. My eyes widen as I saw him. "Z-Zane" I snarled out. He looked at me. "Oh well... well what do we have here..." he chuckled evily. I felt myself change into my warrior form. My eyes narrowed. "Why now?"I whispered. I held my crystalized sword as Zane held his black one. "A clash between us I see Lady Aphmau" his voice had venom in it. I growled and he charged at me. My eyes widened and before I got a chance to block it, my eyes opened. I was in my realm again. I shivered from my dream. "Now this had to be delt with..."I muttered.
