Chapter Four

I shot awake. My eyes adjusted and I realised it was still night. Laurence was asleep in his bed. I healed him and It drained me so I had to rest. I had to. I looked around in the room seeing the silvery white light from the moon drowning the land. It made an eerie setting. I then saw a shadow. It wasnt mine. I hurried outside and followed the figure. I soon realised I was lead to a clearing where the moon stood high. I became confused of where the figure went.  I looked around but then shivered. What was that figure...? My train of thought was ruined as I heard a twig snap. I looked torwards the noise. Nothing there. I hesitantly stepped forward. "W-who is there?" I called out. My voice betrayed my mood. I sounded brave but, right now Im scared. Then suddenly I saw the figure. I looked at it as it did me. It... was Vylad. "My Irene, Vylad you scared me!" I said surprised. Vylad chuckled slightly. "I was patrolling" he said. "Oh... okay" I muttered. "Aphmau, you should go back to bed, tomorrow we have to start making our village" he said. "Yeah... Ill go to bed, um goodnight Vylad" I said. "You too" he replied and I walked back. I walked back into Laurence's and my house. I sat in my bed and pulled the covers over my body and fell asleep.

I sat on my bed, sketching house ideas. I cant believe I'm not allowed to build. Irene damn the worried Laurence Zvhal!. I groaned inwardly until. Katelyn rushed in. "A-Aphmau- Laurence fell down a hole!" Katelyn says. We both start laughing until a grumpy Laurence appears. "Its not funny!" He whined. We only laughed more. Laurence crossed his arms and then felt a plan being birthed into his mind. He then got up but then pinned me to my bed. I let out a surprised squeak. "Aphmau~" he purred and smirked leaning closer, and he gently slid his hand down my back lower and lower, until Katelyn grabbed Laurence by the back of his collar and threw him off of me. She then punched him and scolded him. I laughed silently as Laurence whined in protest. "I d-dont regret anything-" he groaned. I cracked up laughed.
