"This is my house," Zara explained as she unlocked her front door. She held a bundle of keys, each one a different colour,"Hey mum!" She yelled.
"Hi Honey! Did you just get in?" Answered a happy voice that almost matched Zaras,"I was just about to stick the kettle on if you-" She scuffed her slippers to the landing of the stairs and stopped in her tracks; staring at me.
"Oh, erm, hi Mrs...-" I started then realised I didn't know Zara's last name.
"Starling, dear. And you are?" She raised her eyebrows at me in anticipation.
"I'm Toby, I've recently moved here; down the road infact..." I bit the inside of my cheek again.
"How recently?" She said almost concerned.
"Today." Starting to feel nervous, I turned to Zara and said," I think I should go..."
"No. Mum we're going in the lounge." She said forcefully as she grabbed the sleeve of my hoodie.

"Okay, 'Greece' or 'Marley and Me'?" She asked me, from over by the bookshelf.
"Um, 'Greece' I guess," I mumbled as I sat lazilu on her couch infront of her massive T.V.
"I don't need your guesses, I need you to know," She insisted, moving her eyebrows higher uo her forehead with every syllable.
"Okay then, I know I want to watch it."
"Better." Zara put the disc inside the D.V.D player and pressed play on the remote. Sighing and sitting a meter away from me, she took a mirror and a pink lipstick from the coffee table's draw. I could see her reflection in the screen as she made every precise mouth movement to cover every millimetre of lip in light pink. I watched her put down her makeup and then lean back into the pillow.
The film was okay but I felt extremely awkward at each kissing point in the movie as I could see Zara staring holes into my eyes.
I sighed as the film came to a relaxing, romantic scene and put my arm on the back of the sofa, along the top of two pillows. A few seconds later, Zara had moved so that her head was resting on my chest, her arm was led across my stomache and she was lying on her side. I gulped louder than I expected to and wanted to put my hand on her back but thought against it. I imagined every possible outcome if I made a move right now and decided against any idea apart from staying still.
The film ended and the credits followed, she looked up at me and smiled sweetly. I looked into her hazel eyes and smiled back. Getting up and moaning quietly, she stretched so tall that I saw her waist and stomache, God, she was slim.
A sudden thought that my mum didn't know where I was occured to me and I said, "See you later Zara, I've got to run."
She nodded and took off her jacket,"Bye."
