Kayleigh's pov
We were in the car for about 5 minutes before we arrived. "Thanks mom!" I say. "You're welcome! Love you!" she replies. "Love you too!" I say back. I close the passenger door and walk up the stairs. I press the button and wait for Riley to answer. I wonder why she's inviting me over so soon. A buzz goes off and I know its Riley. "Come on up!" she says. I open the door and walk up the stairs until I find her apartment. Here goes nothing. I open the door only to find that no ones here. "Well thats wierd."
I say out loud. I turn to leave when the lights come on and a bunch of people yell "SUPRISE". I must of had a weird look on my face because Lucas comes over and hugs me. "Welcome to New York" he says. "Thanks" I say and hug him back. We must of been hugging for a while because Riley clears her throat. We release each other and then me and Riley hug. "Thank you so much for doing this!" I say. "Of course. Who would I be if I didn't?" she asks waiting for the answer. I shrug and we walk over and start talking to people.
*2 hours later
The party has been going on for a while and a lot of people already left so it was just Riley, Lucas, Zay, Farkle, and I. We were laughing at a joke Zay made until we heard the door open. I turned around and gasped at who it was.
