Then Lucas walked out. He looked sad. He looked up from the floor and saw Kayleigh and Jacob hugging. Jealousy came over him quick. "Jacob, come here!" Kayleigh said pulling him towards us. "You remember Zay right?" she questioned him."yeah. Its cool to see you again" "you too"Zay replied and then they did the bro hug. "And this is my friend Lucas." "hi" Jacob said. "Hey" Lucas replied. "And these are Lucas' friends Riley,Maya, and Farkle" "its nice to meet you guys" Jacob replied. He was very nice. "You too." Riley Farkle and I replied back to him. "Kayleigh,we need to talk." Lucas blurted out.
Lucas' p.o.v
"Kayleigh,we need to talk" i spit out. Jacob's arm was around her and i didnt like it but there was something i needed to tell her. "Of course." she said curiously. We walked to the side of the house. "Kayleigh, your mom is in the hospital" i say regretting telling her. "What?" she barely gets out. She falls to the floor crying. "No no no. This can't be happening." she mumbles through her tears. "I can take you to see her if you want" the only thing i can think to say. "No. You have the rodeo to get to. Jacob can drive me" i quickly grab her face and kiss her. She pulls away and looks shocked. "Kayleigh,im so sorry. I didn't.." " its fine" she cut me off, "it was just an accident" i nod my head. We hear someone cough and we see Zay standing there with a smile on his face.
