Chapter 1

The names Katherine Elisabeth Moore. I'm the daughter of Harmony and Jasper Moore. I think.... Because I'm different from them. I have black hair with orange highlights and deep violet eyes with specks of orange. As of my family, my mom has blonde hair that goes to her wait that is as straight as a board and has feather bangs that hang over her left eye and her eyes are deep blue. My dad has dirty blonde hair that covers his deep green eyes. My older brother Ryder has moms blonde hair and dads green eyes. He has dads body sculpture and moms personality. Also he is known as a jock who is best friends with the schools biggest player and jock Xander Moon. I may be the betas daughter but everyone hates me and don't have the slightest clue as to why they hate me. I'm pretty much the nerd of the school and the number one punching bag for all the kids my age. To say the least the elders have respect for me and the younger ones don't I don't know why the elders respect me so much. I help out with the little kids a lot. I treat them as I'd they were my own. Today is October 6th ad tomorrow is my sixteenth birthday. I should shift and hopefully find my mate. I hope he would take me away from this hell hole I call life. I have no friends because they make up excuses not to even talk to me. Well lets hope right??

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP...... I told over smashing my alarm clock. Crap I got to get yet another one. That's my 14th one this month. I just shrug it off and got out of my bed going to my small closet getting out some baggy jeans and a long sleeve taking them to the bathroom with me. After heating up the shower I strip and get in letting the heat of the water wash away m tiredness. "Happy birthday" I thought to myself as I wash myself with my French vanilla and strawberry shampoo and conditioner. After washing my hair I get out of the shower dry myself off and get dressed and put on makeup to hide my bruises that I get everyday. Walking back to my room I grab my black DC and slip them on and grabbing my army camp backpack sliding it on and putting my hair up. I never let my hair down. You can say its weird because I have orange streets mixed in with my black hair. I slip on my fake glasses and go downstairs to grab a water and an apple. I'm bit allowed to eat any meat. I don't know why. After waking out I say my 15 minute walk to the high school. I'm a sophomore.When I get to school I smell the most alluring smell ever. It smells live coconuts mixed with strawberries my favorite. I don't follow the smell and just keep walking with my head down all the way well almost because of the schools slut Mitchie. She shoves me into the locker and looks at me laughing "sorry didn't see you there nerd" the I felt the tingling of something I look up and regret it because I'm staring into the soon to be alphas eyes. It feels like the whole world just stops. Then he doe the unthinkable "I Xander Moon reject you Katherine Moore as my mate". I gasp as pain shoots trough me and I managed to say "I Katherine Moore accepts the rejection of Xander Moon" then I walk away leaving a stuns crowd. I walk run all the way home. I knew mom and dad won't be home because they had their duties as betas to this pack to fulfill. I walk to my room grabbing my clothes and money and important things that I need. I write a note saying

Dear Moon pack,

I am leaving and no one and I mean no one come looking for me. I have been bullied and I have been rejected by non other then Xander Moon himself. I am sorry for not being the girl everyone wanted. I'm sorry mom dad and you too bro. I'll miss y'all.
