Chapter Twenty Six| Pet Stores

After that event, we decided to go to an icecream shop. "Hey, you okay Adam?" Ty asked as he put an arm around him. Adam sighed and nodded. We continued to walk in silence. Once we got to the shop, we ordered and sat outside.

The autumn is my favourite season, and forever will be. Why? The trees' leaves dance their way down to the ground with such passion. Their colours are so beautiful and blend perfectly. I watched as the trees around me lose their leaves and create a pile of red, yellow, and orange. I didn't realise I was daydreaming until Brice nudged my arm.

"Huh? What." I mumbled. Brice smiled warmly, "Your icecream babe."

"Oh thanks."

"So, let's do some crazy things! This date is boring, let's spice it up a bit! Any suggestions?" Ty asked with a smirk on his face. Adam beamed, and raised his hand. "OOOH! OOH! ME! PICK ME!" Adam whined. The shop fell into a deep silence as everyone stared at us. "I'm sorry, my child is being an idiot. Don't mind him!" Ty chuckled.

Once everyone looked away, the three broke into a fit of laughter. "HAHA! YOU JUST GOT EMBARASSED!" Brice laughed. Adam started to tear up while laughing like a psycho.  I groaned loudly as I flushed red in embarrassment. "Come on guys, why now..." I covered my face with my scarf.

Adam banged his fists onto the table and laughed loudly, causing Ty and Brice to laugh harder. "Ugh." I got up and left the shop, walking through the streets with my hands in my pockets. Brice, Ty, and Adam caught up, "Hey Seto! It was funny!" Adam laughed.

I huffed in response. The three walked sideways, looking at stores and restraunts as we strolled by.

"Oh look! A pet store!" Brice exclaimed. He trotted over to the store and entered. We followed and we were greeted by a man in uniform. "Greetings customers! Welcome to the Pet Den! If you need any help, please ask!"

"Thanks." I mumbled.

There were many types of pets. To cats, to dogs, to snakes, and even to birds. I started to wander off, leaving the crew behind.

"Adorable.."I whispered as I watched a kitten paw at its mother. The kitten was a Balinese. It's covered in beautiful cream fur with a pint of a chocolate. "Do you like the kitty?" A man asked. I turned around and was greeted by the same man who offered us help when we first entered the store. "Yes actually."

"Would you like to pet it?"

I shrugged, "I should go find my friends." I walked away and tried to look for Brice. "Where is that Aussie..."

I started walking faster as the man was following me. "Brice! Where are you?!"

"Over here!" Brice popped out of no where and I'll admit, scared the hell out of me. I fell back and yelped. "Oops, sorry babe, did you find any cute animals? Adam and Ty are looking at fish."

"I found a kitten I really want! Can we adopt it?" I asked. Brice was unsure at first, but the moment I showed my puppy eyes, he gave in and said yes. "Why do you want a pet?" Brice asked me.

I wasn't sure why I wanted a pet, but I want it. And since I moved in with Brice not to long ago, I'm sure I'll be even more happier. I shrugged, "There it is!" I exclaimed and skipped to the kitten I found earlier.

"That's so cute! Even I want it!"

"Seto! Brice!"

We turned around and faced Adam and Ty with a fish bag and a tank.

"Holy crap, why did you get a fish?" Brice questioned. Adam chuckled, "It's called a pet store for a reason dummy!"
