The air was cold and chilly as i wandered the streets of LA. It had been 6 years since i last had been here and thankfully though my disguise no one recognised me. I was headed to a small hotel room my now strangely purple hair tucked beneath a beanie.
This city that I once called home now stank. I could literally smell fear on people as they walked by and i had just about enough of it. I wanted so desperately to see his face again, to ask how he had been. Who you may ask. My boyfriend, or at least he was until i had died. I'm an angel of sorts, a guardian, looking for a small girl who ironically shared his last name, Frederick.
As i walked past a small burger joint i saw him. he had a family now, His wife Amanda and his daughter. she looked to be about 4 and looked over at me. she looked so much like the both of them. I turned to leave as i saw the words leave her mouth... Daddy look an angel.
She could see though my disguise?if she could that meant she could see the set of snow white wings and my old raven black hair. "Hush Luna" amanda said as she pointed at me. Matthias looked at me and that's when i ran. Luna... I had to protect his daughter!?
