They had walked out of the restaurant and she walked beside Matthias. she seemed like she was a happy child but she looked over and met eyes with me. I had been laying against a wall and she called out. Daddy look there's the angel!"
"Honey that's just a normal guy.." He said before walking over. I looked up at him and he looked at me. "you look like an old friend of mine" He said. his eyes seemed distant before he looked at me again. "Do you have a place to stay umm.."
"Nathan" I said with a nod. Man i should have used another name not my real name. "But people call me N"
"Ok N" He seemed to be relieved that it wasn't Nathan or Nate he had to call me. "come on, do you need a place to stay?"
"I mean it wouldn't be bad" I admitted not really wanting to go back to the hotel. i mean i literally had nothing besides what was on me at that moment so it didn't really matter if i did go back there.
He looked back at amanda as he helped me up. he must have given her puppydog eyes. "fine we'll take him to our house until he can get a place of his own ok... besides if we can trust him he can watch Luna while we are doing work."
He smiled walking with me. Luna's bright eyes looked up at me as she smiled. "Its ok Mr. Angel Mommy and daddy are nice people"
"I'm sure they are... I'm no angel though... I'm just a normal guy" I gave her a small wink as if to say it was our little secret. She giggled with a nod. i got into a small blue car with Matt in the passenger seat and amanda driving. Luna sat beside me her eyes bright as i gues she looked at me with wonder and amazement. "My name's N, whats yours"
"Luna" she said happily. though i already knew her name i figured it be weird if i called her it without her actually telling me. might make me sound like a creep. "And I'm 4 years old" She held up four fingers. she was intelligent. must have gotten it from both her parents but definitely Matthias. "and that's mommy and Daddy, but you'd call them Matt and Amanda cause there not your mommy and daddy"
Nate smiled at the small girl's intelligence. "well i wont call them Mommy and Daddy then" he winked at her glad she didn't see the strange purple hair that most others saw.
"Mommy can Mr. N play barbies with me when we get home."
Amanda laughed. "ask him he might"
"I'd love to play barbies with you" He smiled happy to be with the kid. his eyes were weary as he watched outside with a smile. Amanda looked like she didn't trust him too well. his soft eyes looked at her as he gave a kind smile. "what all barbies do you have"
She giggled "daddy got me the youtuber ones" she said. "well all except one..."
She pulled on Nate's arm pulling his ear close. "He got a Natewantstobattle one just i can't have it" she whispered into my ear. "he said he bought it for a collectible since he was a good friend of his"
Nate muttered to himself mentally "ya a real good friend" he gave a smile remembering that she could see his real form not the angel and he smiled. he smiled and gave her a quiet shh finger as she giggled trying to touch his wings. he tucked them away as he chuckled. "Hey Luna... when we get there you want to show me all your cool toys.
"Ya" she said happily. He caught a glance at Matt, the proud parent that he was and his now grown out beard. He was smiling though he looked a little confused, like he was curious as to who Nate really was.

A friend helped me use this really cool Deviant art chibi maker. the art is all the creators i just used it to make Angel nate and how others see him. I thought it was an interesting idea and i collaged the two pictures together. New chapter is scheduled to come out next week or the week after.
