The Road Trip

~Chapter 2~

Samantha's POV:

I stopped to think about what Denise said for a second before saying "Why don't we just leave tomorrow? I mean we have everything ready." I asked "Really? What about the project and school !? " she said excited. I took out the paper Logan gave me, I opened typed in the number in on my phone and called him. After 3 rings he picks up. "Who is this?" He said firmly. "It's Samantha I just wanted to let you know me and Denise will not be able to do the project with you and Andrew we are leaving tomorrow to Miami." I said quickly. " Sam this project is worth half our grade what the fuck! " he said shouted mad. "Denise and I have talked to the Ms.Allen and we will be doing a different assignment." I said calmly and hung up.

"Sleepover?" I asked Denise looking at her just stare at the wall . "Yea let me just call my mom and to tell her that we leave tomorrow. " Denise said nervously . "Alright I'm going to let Joel know." I said winking at Denise . "Shut up saaam! " she said whining . "Alright, alright just call your mother." I threw a pillow at her. While Denise was on the phone I decided to text Joel and not FaceTime him because I don't know if he is recording or something important like that also Denise won't talk to him anyways. He doesn't know she's coming with me but he'll be happy I brought a friend, since he has his friends from CNCO.

I put my phone to charge since we are going to be stuck in a car tomorrow for 15hours. Denise was saying bye to her mom while I got out a stash of snacks me and Denise have hid in my closet . We've been doing that since 2 summers ago when we wouldn't want to go all the way downstairs for snacks and she wants to avoid Gabriel. "Ok all set I have everything in my car ready to go already." Denise told me in a happy tone. "Alright we're leaving at 6:00am so we can get there around 10:00pm alright?" I asked. All she did was whine and complain since she loves sleeping. "Don't worry I'll drive the first 9 hours and you can drive the last 6." I said trying to pick a movie on Netflix . "Ok but you have to buy me breakfast at DD." "Deal" . We shook hands and  decided on watching Dope and Denise and I fell asleep at around 1am.

-Next Morning-

*alarm goes off*
"Turn it offff!!!!" Denise yelled while I stood up to turn off the annoying alarm. I looked at the time and it was 5:30 am. "Get up and get ready we are leaving in 20 minutes."I ordered. Denise groaned and got up "I'm taking a shower downstairs!" I hear from the bottom of the stair well. "OKKAY" I yell back. I walk into the bathroom and turn on the shower. I strip off my clothes before stepping into the warm shower. I apply the shampoo then conditioner. I also shave because I'll be wearing a dress. I hop out of the shower and wrap myself up with a towel. I walk out, then into my room and I see Denise already ready. She has a black skirt above the knee , a white city girl crop top, and has her hair in a side low ponytail. (Outfit above) Mean while I'm changing she takes my bags to her car. Im wearing a nice blue dress that's above the knee with knee high socks and my third favorite pair of shoes.(outfit also above)

"SAMMM! It's 6:15" Denise yells "COMING" I grab my phone walk out the room, run downstairs and say bye to my parents and siblings. But Gabriel was missing , I walk outside to see Gabriel hugging Denise to death. "Don't leave me stay here." Gabriel whines into Denise's shoulder. "Gabriel if you love me let me go." she says while pushing him off. I say bye to Gabriel and get in the drivers seat. "You ready for our adventure? " I ask Denise . She take my hand "I was born ready" she says . I start driving and I drive to Dunkin'Donuts. We walk in and I order the usual a grilled cheese with a iced coffee while Denise orders her sandwich with a mango smoothie. "So what's our first stop Sam? I mean before we get to Miami"

We can stop at the farm petting zoo first. "Sounds good!" Denise says. She turns on the radio and immediately Denise and I start singing along to Lush Life by Zara Larsson. Denise take out her phone and records me singing like a maniac on snapchat and labels it "Roadtrip with this cray bitch😂💖" and posts it to her story. By then its already 6:50 and we have just a few minutes until we get to our first stop.
