The Road Trip

~Chapter 7 ~

*2days later* (Wednesday)
Denise's POV:
I wake up to see Sam's dumb ass dancing around the room to Steal My Girl by One Direction. I grab the nearest object that just so happens to be a hair brush and throw it at her. "I thought you were sleeping" she say with an ugly face."Well bitch not anymore!" I yelled trying not to laugh , she then jumps on the bed next to me "Chris's party today at 8 be ready" Sam says casually. "Alright what are we doing today?" I ask her "I don't know , I'll go ask Joel." She says."Noooooo, I'll go" I say in a desperately tone quickly.

I get up to put on some shorts on some shorts , I walk out and knock on his door since his rooms is right next to ours. "Come in." I hear him say. I walk in to him his getting up from his bed and I notice he's shirtless. "Hey what's up?" He asks I stare at him and nervously say " uh, bye."

I run back to the room and close the door. "What he say ?" Sam asks "H-He was shirtless a-and I left." I say still thinking about shirtless Joel. "Oh my gosh" she said sarcastically "I'll go then" she stated.

It's been 5 minutes since Sam left and she's not back. I open the door to go look for her and I see her and Yoandri talking in his bedroom it's right across the hall so I could see clearly. She stops talking and was about to leave but Yoandri stopped her giving her a hug. As she walked back I could tell she was blushing.

"so what are we doing today?" I ask
"Well actually you have plans today" she says happily. "Me? What plans?" I asked confused. "You'll find out." She was with a stupid smile on her face. "Let's go get us some breakfast" I say.
*skipping breakfast*

Joel's POV:
After we finish breakfast I start getting nervous. What if she doesn't like me , what if I'm friend zoned. Does she know I like her? Sam interrupts my thoughts "Don't be nervous you'll be fine!" She said very convincingly. "Thanks" I smile at her. I saw Denise on the coach on her phone so I go and sit next to her. "Oh , hey" she said while looking up to see me. "Can we go for a quick walk in the garden?" I asked shyly. "Yea, sure" she says with a smile.

As we are walking I start feeling better, then we enter the garden . We walk and it's silent until I sit down on a bench and she sits besides me. "Hey, Denise I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" I say while I'm holding her hands. She freezes doesn't say anything I get kind of upset. "I'd love to but you have to buy me brownies" she said in a playful but serious matter. "Deal go get ready date starts in 1 hour something casual." I say while getting up and kissing her on the cheek.

I go upstairs to get ready and I chose to wear a casual outfit, I decided to take Denise ice skating. I mean its a first date I want it to be fun an romantic but not to much to scare her off. When I'm finished getting dressed I go downstairs to find Yoandri and Sam laughing historically. "What are you guys laughing?" I ask curiously. "I was telling Sam about that one time that you and I made our own little music video and you started crying because the song was sad." Yoandri says still laughing. "It was sad!! That's not even funny." I say pouting.

"I'm ready" I hear a voice behind me. I turn around to the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. "Denise you look great" I state smiling. "Thanks" she said blushing."ew get out I don't want to see my two Bestfriends flirting" Sam says disgustingly. "Agreed" Yoandri as aid nodding his head. "Now you know how I feel Sam" i says winking bobbing my head towards Yoyo. "Hey! We aren't fl-" me and Denise cut her off by running out of the house.

We get in my car and it's silence the whole ride until we get to the ice skating rink.

Denise POV:

"Oh my gosh! Yesssss!" I whisper-yell "Let's go." Joel says to me. We get out of the car and Joel takes my hand , I look down trying to hid my face I could feel my cheeks get red. "Alright what shoe size are you?" Joel asks with the sweetest smile on his face. "Um I'm a 5 1/2" I tell him. "Aw little feet, One 5 1/2 and a 10 1/2 please." He tells the guy. He grabs the ice skates and gives me my pair.

We put them on and head to the rink once we are there he starts skating and I'm just standing there lost. "Come on Denise!" Joel shouts from the other side of the rink. I grab onto to the edge of the rink and start walking but Joel grabs and pulls me so I'm far away from the edge. I grab onto him tightly "I don't know how to ice skate." I say scared I'm gonna fall "Well come on I'll help you." he said pulling me for the next 2 hours we just laughed , skated and held hands.
"I'm tired and hungry" I say out of nowhere "Me too lets go get some pizza?" he suggest. "Alright!" We go to Pizza Hut to eat and go into the car.

While driving there Joel stops the car and what he said after that I didn't expect any of it.
