lyrics of a lark
float through fat flowers
burgeoning blossoms burst into
pink petals that spiral in still air
caress the cheeks of passers-by
lay themselves lightly to sleep
on the sun-dappled bed
of the flowering walk
on a spring Sunday
somewhere.
