you are a galaxy
filled with storms and flares and black holes
rings of ice and asteroid belts
flaming comets and planets
with swirling turquoise surfaces
scattering the wide expanses of universes
but i too am a galaxy
when we meet our stars will not collide
(between us lies abundant lack of air)
each will pass through the other
without event or affair
and sometimes i think
what i would give to be a star in your expanse
but i would rather not be anything
less than what i am.
