Alexis turned around to swat Cameron in the face while everyone stared at the two of them silently.

"Cameron!" Alexis nearly shouted with anger as she went to hit her again.

"Oh god woman! Don't hit me!" Cameron mumbled as she moved away from Alexis. "Dammit. I was just kidding." She broke out in a cheeky grin as we all looked at her as if she grew two heads.

"What? I thought it would be funny to drop a bomb like that." She shrugged as she continued to finish off her plate of pasta.

"Wait....you two aren't dating?" I said as all the realizations that came to mind a minute ago started to float away.

"Hahahha! No!" Cameron started to laugh to herself as Alexis hit her on the back of the head. "What?! Stop hitting me! You and Jason were about to claw each other's necks off! I thought by ...uh... dropping a bomb like that...It would make you two shut up." She said as her laughing increased, making it hard for all of us to understand her reasoning.

I just sorta sat there and stared with a confused expression on my face...I mean, technically it did make them shut up?

"Wait...Then you two..." Jason started as he looked in-between the dying of laughter Cameron and the pissed off Alexis that was now plotting Cameron's death.

"No! We aren't dating. We're best friends, plus I have my eye on someone else." Cameron explained as she died down from her laughter, a small smirk pressing against her lips. I couldn't help but wonder who she was referring to.

Isabelle spoke up calmly, "Er...Cameron, Alex, and ...Sam. Let's all go to the living room so Jason and Alexis can get back on track-after that rude interruption," she coughed and glared at Cameron, "I think they need alone time." I slowly sat up from my seat, wondering why she hesitated on saying my name, and frowned when I noticed Isabelle take Alex's hand as they got up. Why was I so hurt?

"Aw, come on. I want to watch them fight!" Cameron whined as she earned a swift hit to her back by Isabelle AND Alexis this time. "Ow." She mumbled defeatedly as she got out of her seat to walk to the living room, that is, before she grabbed the center tray of pasta in the middle of the dining table to take with her.

"And thanks A, for uh ...making this delicious pasta even though we all doubted the fact that you can cook...so...have fun with ..." She nodded towards Jason, "Whatever you two are about to talk about." She grinned and walked to the living room with the huge tray of pasta, Isabelle following while shaking her head, and Alex in tow. I sighed after following them into the living room, taking a seat on a lone chair so I wouldn't have to share one with Isabelle and Alex while they acted like the couple they were. Plus, I didn't want to sit by Cameron, as she seamed to be quite content with that tray of pepperoni pasta.

We all sat in silence until we could hear Alexis and Jason in the background. (Besides the occasional slurp from Cameron eating.)

"I don't understand why we're arguing about this Jason." Alexis started up again.

"What do you mean?! You're the one that started it!" Jason exclaimed.

"Because you're the one that slept with five girls! ALSO MAY I ADD THAT THREE OF THOSE GIRLS WERE AT THE SAME TIME."

My face reddened and I gagged at the thought of my brother having sex with that many girls at the same time. I looked over at Alex, who seemed to be laughing at our eavesdropping, while Isabelle grabbed the remote to turn on the TV. Soon enough, I could barely make out Jason and Alexis yelling at each other due to the sound of the TV. I was grateful that I didn't have to hear about their...problems anymore. Even though I probably should've, as I thought Alexis didn't have a thing for my brother? I didn't understand that girl.
