To be honest I have no idea who is reading these but thank you for the 18 reads! Sounds silly now but I am appreciative for people reading and caring about my work. It's just meaningful to me. So thanks.
This poem is about a guy that is always loyal but the girl always finds a way to mess it up royally. This could be an anonymous sender to post this, or it could be mine. That information is sort of confidential. It's almost like a Tumblr post when it's anonymous but also written by secret identities bc they don't want their friends to know? Sort of like that. Something I dream about all day,
And think about all night,
Something I desire so little, but crave when it's out of sight.
Something appreciated only when it's lost,
Something too fierce once it is found,
Once I am forced to pay the cost, my heart gains by the pound
I miss you when you're past me,
I ignore you when you turn back,
My heart will never be let be, it's just something I'll always lack
You've slipped from grasp,
Your gone from my love,
I search too hard on maps,
And see everything but what I'm thinking of
If you're reading this I hope you know I'm writing down each word for you,
This never ending love poem is past overdue,
I hope one day my desires may come true,
To put the past in the past and become focus on two
I miss your snorted laughs,
I miss your nose crinkling as you smile,
Just know that me gaining you as my other half, is something I've wanted for a while
If I were in your shoes,
I'd walk away from my acknowledgment,
I've hurt you too many times to lose the message I this poems sent
So keep this poem in your thoughts,
For you know this poem's for you,
when you see me next my stomach will drop,
Then you'll know that this is true
