Chapter Seventeen - Nathan, I'm done with you

The next morning I got up and found a note at the side. "Gone to Scooter's office. Be back by 1 xx Nath."

I changed into fresh clothes and went down. Kelsey was sleeping on the counter and Nareesha was making tea. "Morning. Sleep well?" I asked

"No, I fucking tired" Kelsey mumbled.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked

"Packing. She's leaving today"

"I wish she could stay here for a longer time"

"I'll be back" A voice said, clearly Lucy's. "Max doesn't know I'm going today. I was actually supposed to leave tomorrow, but the crew called me earlier." she said

"I'm gonna miss you" Kelsey said and hugged her.

"Me too" she replied. Her phone rang and she went outside. Nareesha gave me the tea. "Nareesha, I was thinking, now I need to find a job. I can go and be a waitress in a hotel but Nathan wouldn't allow me. Like you are a shoes designer, Kelsey is a dancer who runs dance classes, Lucy is an actress....what can I do?" I asked

"Well, you can become a model."

"I am not fit for a model."

"How are you not fit for a model?" She asked and put her hands on her hip.

"One, I'm fat, two, I'm not beautiful, three-" I was cut off by a voice saying "I will slap you if you say that again" Nathan said and wrapped his hands around my waist.

"The truth is always bitter" I said

"But that's not true. You can become a model. And you will"

"No thanks I prefer to be a wait-" Suddenly Max screamed. "Max?" We hurried out of the kitchen. "MAX!" Jay shouted. We ran up to Max's room and he stood in front of Lucy and Lucy was covering her ears. "Don't leave me!" Max said and hugged her.

We all sighed of relief. "What the fuck just happened?" Siva asked

"I'm leaving today, actually now and Max is shocked." Lucy said. "Max! You give us heart attacks!" Big Kev said.

I sat on the couch and watched 'The Vampire Diaries'. Nathan placed his head on my lap and scrolled through his phone.

"Nathan?"

"Yeah, love"

"What do think? Should I go for modeling?"

"I think you should go for it." Tom said.

"Yeah, go for it. I'll fix an appointment for you" Nathan said

"Okay" I said.

I got ready and "Lets go" Nathan said. Big Kev drove me, Nathan and Kelsey to the office. "Ashley Scott" Nathan said

"Yes, have a seat Ms. Thompson will attend to you soon" the receptionist said. We nodded and sat on the modern black and white sofa. There was only us and some other girl with her boyfriend I guess. "Ms. Scott?" a lady asked

"Yes" I shot up.

"Ms. Thompson is ready to see you" I nodded and went inside with Kelsey.

After a good 15 minutes, I came out. "Well?"

"I'll know tomorrow......." I sighed

"Hey, don't worry, you'll get the job" he said.

"Lets go" Big Kev drove us back to home.

"Hey, mate, we're going to New York tomorrow night. Then Ohio and then.........VEGAS!!!" Tom said.

"But, we girls aren't allowed to go with them to Vegas" Nareesha said

"WHAT?!" Kelsey and I shouted. "What do mean by girls not allowed?!"

"Its means it is a 'No Girlfriend' trip" Nano said

"Well, I am not Nathan's girlfriend. I'm just a FAKE girlfriend" I said. Nathan raised an eyebrow. I would die to go to Vegas. "That's it Nathan! I'm done with you! I hate you" I said

"Bye Tom we're done" Kelsey said

"5 years of love? Not enough. I hate you" Nareesha said.

"Now can we go?"  I asked. All the boys burst out laughing. "Still No Girlfriends" Nano said

"FINE!" We 3 said and stormed out of the house. I sat in the drivers seat and slammed the door shut. "Now what?" I asked

"I would kill to go to Vegas, and now these guys are saying 'NO Girlfriends' " Kelsey said with Tom's voice. Nathan and Siva came outside the house. "get outta here" Nareesha said

"Nareesha? Are you MAD at SIVA?!" I asked. Nareesha is never mad with him.

"Yeah I am mad. I am so FUCKING mad"

"AHH!!!" Kelsey and I screamed. "NAREESHA CURSED! AHH!!"

"Yeah, yeah, just go to the fucking shop. I'm so pissed" she said. Nareesha's phone rang. "I am not picking up the phone"

My phone rang. I put on my Bluetooth. "Hello?" I said

"Where are you girls?" Nathan asked.

"We are so pissed that we are going to the mall."

"ASHLEY!!!" Nareesha and Kelsey screamed.

"We're not going to the mall, we're going to the beach" I told Nathan.

"Yeah, okay. Are you girls mad at us?" Siva asked. "And why isn't Nareesha picking up her phone" Suddenly an idea popped in my mind. I winked at Nareesha. "Nareesha isn't with us. She got down at someone's house 15 minutes back." I said. "She's not picking up her phone" Kelsey acted. Nareesha was trying to control her laugh at the back seat.

"Siva call her" Max said. "Yeah, call me after you call her. I'm driving" I said

"Okay." I hung. Nareesha's phone rang. "H-hello? S-siva?" she acted.

"Nareesha where are you?"

"S-siva. H-help m-me. I don't know where I am. I-I'm s-scared" I tried to hold my laugh. I was off my seat!

"NAREESHA! DONT WORRY! JUST TELL ME HOW THE PLACE LOOKS LIKE!"

"I'm in a car with Kelsey and Ashley really pissed of at you" she said in a breath.

"HAHAHAHA!!!" Kelsey and I burst out laughing.

"Oh my god! Nareesha you scared me! And why are you girls mad at us?"

"Maybe because we are not going Vegas with you?" I said

"Yeah, but we'll go Vegas some other time, for a holiday." Nathan said.

"Ok, whatever, we're coming" Kelsey said. We hung up and drove back home.

"You have to make it up to me big time" I poked Nathan's chest.

I set my bed and Nathan wrapped his hands around me. "Why are you so romantic at night?" I asked

"I don't know. I think we have private space with us at night" He said and kissed my cheek. "Ashley, I'm really sorry, I cant do stuff a boyfriend has to do. I cant take you out, bring you gifts, ta-"

"Nathan." I said and wrapped my hands around his waist and rested my head on his chest. "One hug, one kiss, one 'I love you' is more than enough to make my day." I said.
