Chapter 3 The Fight

(Name)'s p.o.v
Life has been great for me and the twins, right now we're in junior high but Rin keeps missing school, Yukio on the other hand he's at the top of his classes again. I've managed to control my temper and stop getting into fights, though Rin is still having trouble.

Right now me and Yukio are walking home together from school. "What's been happening in your world?" I asked Yukio. "Nothing special just the same as usual, Rin coming home all beat up, dad yelling at him for getting into another fight, and me tending to his wounds." We both sighed. "What about you?" I groaned. "(Oldest brother's name) got a new job and he's coming home really late, and (Younger older brother's name) got another girlfriend for the third time this month and she's a slut and is really mean to me. So...yeah my life is going pretty good." We both sighed again. "Big brothers are a handful." I nodded in agreement finally we reached Yukio's place. "Well see you around say hi to everyone for me." He nodded and went inside.

I remembered that I had to get some groceries. I noticed that it was getting dark so I had to hurry. Later, I had gotten all I needed, it had gotten dark so I had to hurry home. I was walking on the side walk when a crash in the alleyway ahead of me. I walked closer slowly and peeked my head out a little bit. I saw a men with a gun and a girl little beat up and crying. This isn't good.

"Just stop struggling kid and come with me peacefully so we can get back to the others." He just said others, he's done this before?! I put the groceries down and took a deep breath. Sorry mom but it looks like I'm gonna get home late. I ran to the man and tackled him to the ground and I managed to grab the gun and put in my back pocket. "Hey kid go hide and call 911!" I threw her my phone and she grabbed it and hid behind trash can. "Oh no you don't!" The man threw me off and punched me in the stomach. He just left me there and took out a pocket knife and ran to the girl. "No!" I grabbed the gun in my back pocket and did the unthinkable...

I shot him

He collapsed to ground holding the side of his hip. "Damn you!" He tried to get up and stab me and I panicked and I shot him again he fell again but this time he didn't move. I dropped the gun and held my hands to my chest trying to calm down my breathing.

Suddenly I heard foot steps coming from behind me, I turned around and I stopped breathing when I saw who it was.

It was Rin.

He looked at me shocked but also scared and mad. "(Name)?" He looked behind and saw the man on the ground, his eyes shift back towards me then the gun next my feet. He looked furious. "You killed someone!" I took a step back. "No it's not what it looks-" He cut me off. "Shut up! It's exactly what it looks like you're a murderer!" I felt tears stream down my cheeks. "No I-" Once again I was caught off by Rin but this time he slapped me. I fell to the ground and held my cheek. "I don't want your crap anymore, I thought you were my friend but your nothing but a murderer, a demons child!" I flinched I looked down at the ground and kept crying. "Don't come near me or Yukio ever again!" I heard him run away and I just sat there crying.

The I felt a light tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see the little girl. She was a mess, her hair was all tangled, her clothes were all torn up, her face was stained with tears, and she was covered in cuts and bruises from head to toe. I'm surprised she's even standing. I wiped my tears and softly smiled at her. "You ok?" She only nodded and handed me my phone. "I did everything you said, will everything be ok now?" I nodded and more tears started to form in her eyes. She jumped into my arms and I held her protectively. "Thank you so much miss! I was so scared! I thought I was going to die!" I gently stroked her hair. "There's no need to be afraid anymore, you're safe now."

Then I heard sirens come closer to us. I walked out the alley with the little girl in my arms. They stopped right in front of us, the police went to investigate the scene, the paramedics came up to us and took us inside the truck and drove us to the hospital.
