Rose’s pov.

I wake to the sound of screaming its coming from my Mom and Dad’s room their  names are Peeta and Katniss I don’t know much about why My mom wakes up screaming and my Dad has moments where he gets mad at my mom and calls her a ‘Mutt’  but all these thing have been happing ever since I could remember. I know that if you go back to sleep then everything will be okay in the morning, this happens almost every night, Once dad left for a week to go to a baking convention in the capitol I was 10 then

Flash Back.

“MOM?!” I am running  in our house  trying to find her she is not in the house? Where is she? I run over to Haymitch’s house it’s across from our house and knock three times before I walk in “Haymitch?!” I scream. I find him passed out on the couch with bottles all around him “Haymitch Wake up!” I say shaking him its a stupid movie because he has a knife in his hand he cuts my cheek I start to cry really hard “Haymitch?!” “What the heck?!” “Oh, I am so sorry Rose!” haymitch says “let me get you a band-Aid !” he says he is still drunk so he throws up all over the floor and slips and falls in it, I hold my cheek to stop the bleeding I get up and walk over to him “Oh Thanks Haymitch so much help!” i say in very sarcastic voice. “Your welcome Little sweet hart!” he says with a stupid grin I walk passed him and in to his kitchen I go over to his medical kit on his counter I grab a big  band-Aid and put it on “Haymitch, my mom is gone where is she?!” “I don’t know little sweet hart!” he says funny because he is still drunk as can be not to mention he is still on the floor in his throw up,”Get up Haymitch now!” “I am coming little sweet hart!” he tries to get up but he slips and falls back in his throw up “Help me up?” he says. I grab his hand and pull him up. “lets go find her!” he says drunkenly. He stumbles out of his house “Where do you think she is?” I ask him. “ I don’t know maybe the woods?!” we run down the rows of house in victors village we get out side the seam when I see a old friend of my  moms his name is ‘Gale Hawthorn’ he lives in district 2, “Gale have you seen my mom?!” I scream at him and start crying he gives me a sad look and says “I don’t know where she is but I bet I have a clue where she is!” we go running to the woods most likely she is some where in there but we were wrong 

After 3 hours of looking its sarting to getting dark “Haymitch why the hell did you not see her leaving her house?” Gale says with anger in his voice. i know how much he cares for my Mom once my mom even told me he loved her. “Hey I have been the one taking care of her sorry butt for the months after she got back from the capitol and even now!” Oh great no Gales got Haymitch mad justt great!  “Well Haymitch, it sure looks like you have been because she is not here right now!” Gale says to Haymitch Haymitch looks pissed right now

“You know what? It’s been over 17  years since you last took care of her!”  “Well at least I didn’t leave her for 17 years like you did!” Haymitch says “How is this helping to find my mom?!”i scream. I start to run and dont look back. soon I am at  the meadow I throw my self down on the ground “Mom where are you?!” I scream out loud I start to cry and scream. How can a mother who clames to love you leave you?  “Mom!” I pull my knees to my face and just cry. my curly blond hair is full of grass and dirt. but i dont care.  I see someone through my teary blue  eyes. i take the end of my te-shirt and ues it to try my treas away. when i open my eyes i am face to face with  my “Mommy!” I scream “Hi sweetie.” she says kissing my forehead “Where were you?” I ask her she “I was out her trying to think….” She trails “You scared me Mom dont do that again!” I say to her “Oh Rose, I’m so sorry.” she strokes my cheek. it helps me to clam down a little. “please dont ever leave me again? ” I say kissing her cheek she gets up from the ground and pulls me up with her and in to her arm she carries me home in her  arms I  fall asleep happily in her arms I feel safe with her holding me. 

End of flash back.

I wake up to my mothers soft voice “Hey Rose?” she says shaking me gently “Mom?” “Yeah?” “Why are you in my room?” I turn my head to my clock to see what time it is “At 6:00 am?” “Well…….. I wanted to know if you wanted to go hunting with me?” “Um…… sure?” I say. She smiles at me and gets off my bed and walks to the door and stops “Oh, and be Ready in 5 minutes?!” “Uh…Okay?” she closes the door and I slowly get up and go to get my hunting gear on, I run down the stairs wearing a capitol made outfit it is black and white with a jacket its comfortable that’s why  I wear it most of my stuff is from the capitol but I am not a big fan of the capitol at all believe me when i say that.

“Rose don’t forget to grab something to eat!” “Okay mom.” I say.  I pull my blond locks into a ponytail and grab a piece of fruit and run outside the door to my mom.

We walk past Haymitch’s house a down the rows of houses only victors of some game I don’t know about can stay in these houses. Once to the seam we walk past my moms old house and down the meadow and into the woods. When we are safely under the fence we start into the woods I grab my hidden bow and arrows and my mom walks a head to find her bow and arrows we start to walk down the rows of trees and I see a deer and lode my bow with a arrow and shoot it in the hart it falls “Great job Rose!” says my mom. “Thanks!” I go and grab it and put it in my moms game bag “So…..Rose?” says mom she sounds a little uncomfortable  “Yeah?” I say confused   “So…. Me and Your dad got invited to go to a reunion in District 4, you did two its in 2 days we will be staying for the whole summer I know its long but it will be fun.” she says “Uh….Okay?” she gives me a smile and we keep hunting untill we get hungry.

We end up with 1 Deer and 3 Squirrels and 1 Rabbit when we get home its almost dinner time we spent 10 hours in the woods today “Wow you guys were gone long?” says my dad as we walk into the kitchen.  my mom looks at him "Well we needed some girl time if you know what i mean?" "Uh.. yeah i do but please dont give any info!?" "We will see how nice you are at dinner." she winks at him.  and i think i see him blush?

Dinner is already and set on the table for us to eat, there is soup from the capitol and bread that my dad made it may not seam like a lot but it is. after dinner i go up stairs to my room and take a shower and get in bed I wonder what District 4 is like? I know it has beaches and a ocean but what else?
