Chapter one
Max POV
When I woke up, I was still confused, so I decided to take a quick fly. I was gliding towards a clearing. I landed, not hearing the person following me land behind me. The next thing I knew I heard a BANG!, realizing it was my head. It took me a minute before everything went black.
Fang POV
I was looking out my window when I saw the speck on the horizon. 'What is that' I thought. I walked downstairs. I looked, everyone was there.
Gazzy: check
Angel: check
Iggy: check
Nudge: check
Me: check
'So who the hell was that' I thought. I went outside ignoring the others. Iggy followed me. He nodded. We took off in a huge semicircle. When we got close enough, my mouth dropped. It was max! Or the new max. Not my max. I mentally sighed. I don't know why I had acted like I had when shed morphed all that time ago. That's when I noticed Iggy had a frying pan.
When we landed behind max, Iggy slammed the frying pan down on max's head...hard. She fell knocked out cold. I gaped. Wow.
We carried max back to the house. When we walked in everyone gasped. We tied max down to a bed so when she woke up she wouldn't be able to escape. About 30 minutes later she woke up and looked at me and smiled. Smiled! I looked back confused.
"Well, fang, are you just gonna stand there picturing me as a redhead or untie me?" She said
I gaped/smiled. Max was back. But she was being a dick. My dick.(okay I know that didn't sound right but don't make a bitchy joke and laugh)
