Chapter 2
We walked through the forest, me and Tristan memorizing the paths so we would not get lost.
Marie was constantly pointing out different items.
"Ooh Look! There's a bird!"
"Ohh! Look! There is a pretty tree!"
"Ohh! Look! A pretty rock!"
"Yeah we get it. There are a lot of things." Donnie snapped, getting annoyed.
Marie made a pouting face and slowed her walking.
"Come on guys. Get along." I snapped back.
We were mostly trying to find a nice spot to set up our three person tent, but all the spots were too small.
Finally, we found a decent spot, with a convenient bomb fire spot, and a bigger area for our tent.
"Okay. We got that done." I said.
Donnie went back to the car and drove it up close so we could unpack. We set up our tent, only going through a few problems, and then we unpacked.
Donnie was sleeping in one room, Marie in another, and me and Tristan were in one together.
I know what you’re thinking. Either “eww” or “ohh la la” Well stop.
After we unpacked, we messed around, prank called, and we even played spin the bottle.
That did NOT turn out well.
Anyways, the sun was setting, so we sat down by the fire.
“So… why do people even believe in that stupid massacre?” I asked, flipping over my marshmallow.
“I dunno. People just do. It is stupid.” Marie replied, speaking in her childish voice. She does that.
I shivered and Tristan and I shared a blanket, snuggling with each other.
We went through an awkward silence, until something freaky happened.
A girl, about our age, quietly snuck up behind us, and collapsed to the ground.
She was almost dead.
