What we thought was nothing, turned out to be a lot more than nothing.
At first, all I saw was a big blob in the fog, but as it got closer, you could make out figures.
ALOT of figures.
There were about a hundred people charging at us, screaming in unison: "We've come to kill the beast." over and over again.
Triston was clenching my wrist, dragging me through the woods, Donnie and Marie following.
By now, Tommi was way ahead of us, and I could not see her.
The group was getting closer, and grabbed Donnie's jacket, ripping it to shreds. Donnie screamed, and started running faster. The faces were nothing. Literally.
They were black, actually, the whole figure was completely black, showing no detail.
It scared me honestly. And I quickly turned around and started running faster.
Suddenly, As we passed Tommi she looked at us with fear in her eyes, We all stopped to look at her and she motioned over to where she was.
"Come on" she said "over here!"
We hesitated for a moment then quickly realized we had no other choice.
We quickly ran into the woods over to a little cave where Tommi was sitting.
The group of people ran past us still screaming out: we have come to kill the beast.
Me and Triston were counting heads making sure everybody was okay. When we got to Marie, she looked frozen. Her hand was holding her stomach and when we looked at her hand, it was covered with blood. These monsters had cut her up!
Marie looked up at us with tears in her eyes. I had no idea what to do. I was so scared.
I heard rustling behind me and I realized that it was Tommi going through her book bag. She quickly pulled out some bandages, and crawled over to Marie making sure she wasn't bumping her head on the small ceeling of the cave.
Tommi quickly wrapped up Marie's stomach and as she was Marie was wincing.
"You okay?" Tommi asked.
"I think so but I don't think I can walk." Marie managed to say.
Great.
I leaned up against Tristan, not knowing what to do next.
He held my hand reassuringly and I smiled a little bit.
Now what?
