 Lizzie's P.O.V.

It's been a month of battling the cancer for Olivia.  And the cancer was winning.  She looked like a skeleton laying on the bed.  She looked about 30 years older than she should, and her eyes had sunk in her head.  Anna didn't look any better though.  She wasn't eating much and she barely slept.  It was scaring me more than she knew.

Flashback...

"Anna you haven't eaten in a week!"  I said to her while she accompanied me to smoke a cigarette.  "Yea, and? I'm not hungry, my mother is dying right now!"

"SO ARE YOU!" She stepped back a little shocked at my yelling. "What I mean is... You're just... "

"WHAT? I'M WHAT?" she screamed back at me.

"You look like death!" I started crying my tears pouring out of my eyes.  I'm not usually one to cry.  "Anna I can't lose you! You know I have no other place to go.  I don't think I can go on without my best friend."  She sat next to me, and we cried together.

End...

I sat on the end of the bed while Anna finally fell asleep on the couch.  I heard a knock at the door and nearly burst into tears at the sight of him.  "Vic!" I whispered. I put a finger to my lips signaling for him to be quiet. "She hasn't slept in three days. So do not wake her up!"  I stood up off the bed to hug him, and Olivia woke up.  "Who's here Lizzie?"  She asked without opening her eyes, even that had become hard for her, let alone talking.  "Hey Ms. Olivia! It's Vic" He said, he sounded really excited to see her. "Victor it's so good to hear that your here!" She put on the best smile she could and settled back on the bed. Vic's facial expression hurt me so much, he was on the verge of tears and you could tell he felt horrible. "They've postponed the tour cause all of Sleeping With Sirens caught a virus, I got as far away as possible, so I ended up buying a plane ticket back here to Texas." He looked down to Anna, and that was when he couldn't hold it in anymore.  "God! I should have stayed!" His voice startled Anna out of her sleep.  "VIC!" She stood up and hugged Vic's neck.  He grabbed her hips and spun her around.  "Damn Anna, When was the last time you ate?"   There was a lot of guilt on her face and Vic could tell. She looked towards the ground and mumbled words, that absolutely no one could understand.  I piped in, "A week." Vic's facial expression changed quickly, he looked almost heartbroken.  "Can we go for a walk?"  He said to her.  She nodded and they left the room. Leaving me with the comfort of an almost dead woman and the beeps of the machines.

Vic's P.O.V.

She looked like a walking popsicle stick. That's all I could say about her, it even looked hard for her to walk.  "The next person in the hospital is gonna be you Anna!" I said as soon as we were alone. "Yea well, if you were me you'd do the same thing!"

"No I'd be there to support my mother, not killing myself in the process!" I wasn't holding back, she needed to hear this no matter how bad it hurt. "You'll be laying next to her in the morgue at this rate!"

"WHAT IF THAT'S WHAT I WANT!?! IT'S NOT ABOUT ALL OF YOU! IT'S ME, MY MOM, AND NOBODYELSE!" She started screaming at me in the parking lot. She was turning heads for sure by now. "HOW IS ME NOT EATING A BIG DEAL? MY FATHER ABANDONED ME AND MY MOTHER IS ON HER DEATHBED!" She started crying again. "Everything in that theatre is going to remind me of her! I have nowhere to go, I have nowhere to run away to! I'm just a deadbeat daughter who didn't go to college and they have no use for me!"  We had finally reached my car, she leaned against it for support.  I grabbed her arm to make sure she didn't fall, and she yanked away. "Leave me alone! I'm fine!"
