Good Side (Harry Potter Fan Fiction)

Chapter Four

Kendall wanted that book she was reading yesterday. She walked over to the book shelf finding it but heard Draco move around on the bed. Kendall sighned and sat on the floor by the fire when she heard the door open. She looked up to see Draco his hair was all messy she smiled, he sat down next to her.

"Good morning" he sang. She burst into laughter. 

"Someone is happy" she smiled.  

"Yes because you are here" he replied rustling her hair. 

"I saw you look at my bed hair I know" He smirked. 

"I suppose I should be getting ready I got to go to Diagon Alley soon" Kendall spoke. 

Draco looked over at the book shelf he noticed his book was in a different spot. He knitted his brows walking over. He pulled it out it was his journal from a while ago. He looked towards Kendalls door and down at the book. Draco headed into his room placing it under his bed. She was obviously reading it he frowned he would ask her about it later. He walked back into the common room to see no Kendall her door was open she must of left already. He walked down the stairs towards the great hall and of course she was at the gryffindor table talking with her friends not looking up. He walked over to the Slytherin table taking a seat. He started pilling food in his mouth and looked up to see Lily, Hermione and Ginny leave the great hall. She didnt say bye. He frowned. 

Dear Father,

Its coming to the holidays rather soon and I will be leaving Hogwarts to stay at the Burrow, I really miss you. Please write back plans for the holidays.

Kendall finished up her letter sealing it up she would ask to borrow Dracos owl later. She set it on her desk she heard the door open Draco must of been back. 

"Kendall you back yet?" He shouted through the common room. 

"Yes I'm here" she replied. He walked into her room. She was sat on her bed. 

"Hey have you been reading my journal?" He spoke. 

Kendall froze but nodded. 

"Why?" He spoke. 

"I simply thought it was a book at first but I started reading it and noticed it wasn't and then I put it back once you got home. I was unaware Draco" Kendall spoke.  

"Its personal Kendall" he replied in a sour tone.

She nodded he walked out of the room she heard the door slam. He was mad. She fiddled with her fingers and looked to the bathroom door. And over at the letter. She picked it up and walked towards the door she knocked on his door. 

"Who is it" He spoke. 

"Who else lives here" she replied. 

"Come to steal something else" he spoke. 

She rolled her eyes. 

"I need to borrow your owl to send a letter" she spoke. 

"No you might steal it" he replied.  

She frowned. 

"Draco dont be a child honestly" she yelled.  

She stormed away from the door and walked down the stair case heading towards the owlery. Finding hedwig she gave her a treat and handed the letter over watching her head north from the owlery.
