Even The Universe Makes Mistakes
If the Earth knew she could not be a star,
Would she have summoned gravity
To compress rocks from near and far?
If the Sun knew she did not have to burn
to be seen, would she have swallowed herself
to become the eye of our galaxy?
If the Moon knew she could not light
a fire of her own, would she have shone
with an echo instead of a roar?
