Experiment 13

Orion

"Where is she!?" I yelled. I started to pace around the room and then back and forth in front of my computer. "Where is she!?" I demanded again, but of couscous getting no reply. Axel said she'd meet me right after to school so we could hack into the school's system and change our grades- well at least hers anyway- but she still hadn't shown up.

"Maybe if you stopped asking she just might show up and then there will be nothing to worry about." I looked up to see Ash, a friend of Alex's who had an annoying habit of staying when she wasn't wanted. I stormed up to Ash and glared at her.

"You know if i was asking for your opinion then maybe i would have asked, now wouldn't I?" she gave me a small smile, waving her fist around she replied.

"Trust me you two could be very good friends if you don't shut up this instant." Then just to make me think that she was cool she jumped up and whipped out her wings soaring high above the floor. Then angling herself just right the light bounced off her wings cascading the room in a flood of lights.

"Wow very impressive." I said sarcastically. Then I gasped and held the sides of my face. "And guess what, maybe you can even teach me how to paint my nails and braid my hair!" Ash just glared at me and then stormed off to one of her favorite rooms. But I don't even know why she stays here when her house is just down the street or something. That's when the doors burst open with extreme force. Once all the old dust in the area cleared I saw Axel standing there looking more pissed off that an angry bear. Axel let out an angry roar and marched over to the fridge, practically ripping the door from it's hinges she pulled out a container of ice cream and started shoveling it into her mouth.

"WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!!" She started yelling over and over again. She shot daggers at me and I backed up.

"Um so you want to go over some military plans that I found on the internet. They seem to be plotting something bad and I can't se-." But before I could finish Axel started her own rant interrupting my thought.

"Hey Orion if you were walking home after you got suspended then attacked my a gang of guys then getting SLUSHIED would you want to go over some military plans?!" I was about to answer her question but before I could answer her she started ranting again.

"Gah who am I kidding of course you would, I mean your always like beep boop bop and I just sit there staring off into space not even knowing what your doing." Axel sighed. "I'm such a horrible friend!" Then she collapsed to the floor in a sobbing mess.

"ASH!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I really hoped that she would hear me because if she didn't hear me yell then she was sure to hear Axel bawling.

"What do you wa-!?" She stopped short the second she saw Axel crying. "What the hell did you do to her!?" She demanded. I looked at her and gasped.

"What you think that I caused this, your nuts." I pointed at Axel who was slowly crawling over to the fridge, once she reached it she opened the fridge and took out a pint of ice cream and slowly started eating it. ash sighed and walked over to her and crouched down near her and asked.

"Whats wrong?" she asked. "and you know you better tell me before I force it out of you." Axel took a deep breath and wailed.

"I HATE MEN!!!" Ash smiled.

"Don't worry," she put a reassuring arm around Axel. "Well guess what, so do I and there's tons of women out in the wide world who are living their lives just to hate men." I thought this over to myself. Is that why she hates me, because other women hate men? I was about to ask Axel if she was okay when she jerked her head up. I could tell that the whole atmosphere had changed and that she wasn't going to let us see her cry anymore.

"Did you hear that?" She stalked over to one of the windows and shrugged her jacket off. She jumped up and than landed on a window sail, high above the ground. Leaning forward she peered out the window. Axel stared for a moment examining the surrounding area, grimacing she jumped down.

Stalking over she slammed her fists down on a near by table. After a second of her just standing there thinking Ash asked.

"Well whats going on that your brain isn't telling us?" Axel looked up and gave us an evil smile.

"There seems to be some really bad bugs outside and they came straight to the exterminators house." I looked at her and waited for and explanation. "Those thugs from earlier are back again and I don't think they're going to leave without a fight." She said.

Grabbing a map from one of the walls she pointed to the theater. A group of three is here on the right side, a pair of two on the left side, and one major idiot in the center.

"You can take the left Orion," She pointed to me and continued with her strategy. "Ash you can take the guys on the right," Ash looked at Axel then asked.

"Well then I guess your going to be taking the guy in the middle." Axel smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

"You got it!" She stood there for a minute and stared at the map. I sighed.

"So what are we waiting for?" Axel smiled at me and answered.

"Absolutely nothing."
