Prologue:
Has there ever been a day in your life, a day when everything is going just fine until one moment, one minute ruins it all? Yeah, THAT kind of day. Well, that happened to me today; and, let me tell you something, today, October 13, 1888, will change everything. This day changes the course of my life, "For better or worse?" you may ask. Well, I could tell you but I won't for two very good reasons: 1. I will let you decide if the outcome of this adventure was worth it. And 2. I haven't got a clue how I feel about this (and for good reason too!). So, what do you say? Do you dare come along for this mad journey? Or, will you decide that this tale isn't for you?
