My books were held tightly to my shallow chest as my heart beat frustratingly fast. I had the same basic intention as I had every morning, whisk into class and draw as little attention to myself as possible placing my self in the same seat as I did everyday in the back right corner of the class. After taking my normal fifteen paces to from my locker to my classes door way I stopped in my tracks and held my breath. It was as almost as if gravity itself had stopped and I was floating in mid air.
Just a few feet in front of her slumped in the old plastic chairs was a boy she had never seen before, tall, tan, chocolate brown hair, and big bold transfixing eyes. Several people gathered around his desk, but they seemed to part just like how mosses parted the sea so he eyes met my gaze.I stood engaged with his eyes before being shoved into the door frame as people tried to barge past me. My notebook dropped to the ground revealing its deepest pages, I scrambled to the floor trying to retrieve it as quick as I could. After re-stacking the books on to a tidy pile on my lap as I knelt down on the tiled school floor my hand managed to grab a hand full of shoelaces and leather as I went to stand up, before noticing the face attached to the shoes before me.
Taking a double take my glasses feel off my face following my hand scattering across the floor to find them when just as I felt my glasses a soft hand seemed to have been placed upon mine. Warm. Strong. Enveloping mine under his. Quickly I launched myself up before I drew even more attention to myself. I went and sat at the back of the class as I normally would. As seconds pass they day just carried on as normal, but I did find out one thing.His Name Was Daniel...
