Summer. Schools out. No more hell.

This summer I was thinking of taking a road trip by myself to LA. I know that sounds boring, but I like to do things by myself and just explore new things with no one bothering me much.

I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Adeline. I'm only 16 but I love to travel.

"Hey mom, I think I'm going to drive down to LA for a couple days."

"Ok sweetie. I can give you some money. Be safe please."

I went to my room to pack my suitcase and other things I needed. It would only be about three days, but I like to take a lot of things.

I reserved my hotel room, and I was ready to go.

The thing I wanted to do most in LA was to shop and go to the beach.

I put my bags into my Jeep, got the money from my mom, said goodbye, and was on my way.

The drive was only around four hours. Yeah, I'm from Las Vegas.

I finally got to LA and I decided to go to a Starbucks near my hotel.

I walked in with my purse, and the horrible klutz I am, I dropped my purse and all my belongings fell out.

"Here, let me help." I heard a voice say, but I didn't look to see who it was because I was busy picking up stuff.

I looked up at the person and damn, he was pretty cute. He looked at me and we were looking at each other for a while until i hesitated to say something.

"Er um thanks for helping me. I am such a huge klutz!"

"Yeah no problem. I'm Grayson."

"Well hi Grayson I'm Adeline."

"So are you from here?" He asked.

"No I'm from Las Vegas. I decided to come out here for a couple days to look around."

"Well I could show you around if you want. I moved here from New Jersey with my brother."

I was deciding whether I should say yes or no, but he was so nice and cute so why not.

"Sure! I'd like that a lot."

"Alright here's my number if you want to contact me sometime." He said smirking.

I just got a hot Guy's number. Score! I hope this trip is well worth it.

"Alright I'll talk to you later then, Grayson." I said smiling.

"Alright, see you later Adeline." He said smirking and walked out of Starbucks.

Man, I hope this is going to be a good trip.
