4.

It was the next morning, and I didn't know what to do.

I was back in my hotel room and checked my phone. I had a message from Grayson so why not check it.

Grayson: Wanna go to the beach today? I'm bored lol

Me: yeah sure I'll be ready in 30 minutes

Grayson: great. I'll come pick you up beautiful :)

When he called me beautiful I just blushed. No one really says that to me much.

I went to go get my swimsuit from my bag. It's a striped black halter bikini with a coral bottom. I got a tanktop to put over it and some shorts.

He picked me up and we were on our way.

We got to the beach and found a spot.

" Come one Adeline! Get in the water!" He yelled from the ocean.

"No I want to tan! Im so pale!" i yelled back.

i was tanning for a couple minutes until i felt muscular arms pick me up. Grayson.

He was running with me on his shoulder, and was about to throw me in the water.

Before he could get me wet, i pinched his very round, bubble butt.

"OW! What was that for?" he screamed.

"That's for you trying to get me in the water!"

"Really Adeline, come in the water! I'm bored."

"No. I'm not a big fan of oceans." I said quietly.

"Why?" Grayson said laughing.

"It could have fishes pee!"

"You're just being silly. You know what, let's go get icecream. I know a place a couple minutes away." He said smiling.

We started walking and talking about random things. Grayson is so cute honestly, I don't get how girls aren't all over him. We finally got to the ice cream place, and it was the cutest place ever.

We both ordered, and I quickly went to go pay.

"I was going to pay, you know that right?" Grayson said.

"I said I was going to pay next time and I did." I said shrugging.

We sat down and just started to talk about random things. I never realized we have some things in common.

We decided to go back to the apartment and watch a movie. We decided to watch The Notebook.

During the movie, Grayson pulled me into his arms. He was very warm, and it was a nice touch. We stayed in this position for a long time. I looked up at Grayson, and he was already looking at me. We looked at each other for a while.

I got to see more of his face structures. His mole on his chin, his jawline, his soft brown eyes with a little bit of green, his plump lips.

He started to lean in, and I did too. Our foreheads were touching until I realized this isn't right. I pulled away and Grayson looked sad.

"I'm sorry Grayson... we met like two days ago, I don't want to move on this fast."

"Then I'll wait for you. I'll wait until you're ready. Adeline, I know I've only known you for two days, but I really like you. You have something that makes me feel happy inside. You're everything I've wanted and everything I need. I don't know, but there's something about you that isn't in other people."

I was shocked. Grayson likes me? I didn't know what to say.

"Grayson... I have to leave to leave tomorrow..."

"Wait what?" He said looking at me with sad eyes.

"I didn't know how to tell you this, I'm so sorry. I only came to LA for a couple of days to explore around, and then I ran into you. You changed this whole trip, and I loved it more than I could imagine. I was just so scared because I didn't know I was going to meet someone on this trip so fast."

"Will you ever come back?" He asked in a quiet voice.

"I hope so. I just need to check my schedules."

"If you don't come back for a while, just know that I'll always think about you Adeline. When you come back, contact me asap."

We decided to order some Chinese and watch another movie. We cuddled again after we ate. I'm sure going to miss this boy.

After the movie, Grayson brought me to my hotel. We both walked to my hotel room and we stopped at the door.

" I think this is going to probably be the last time I'll see you for a while." Grayson said.

" Yeah probably. Thank you Grayson for a wonderful trip. I'm glad I ran into you."

"I'm glad I did too. I'm sure going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too."

We both looked at each other, until I pulled him into a hug. We hugged for about a minute, and it was great.

We finally let go of each other and I unlocked my room door.

" Goodbye Adeline."

"Hey we shouldn't say goodbye! How about a see you later." I said with a soft smile.

He chuckled and said," See you later Adeline."

"See you later Gray." I said waving and I walked inside, and slowly shut my door while looking at Grayson.

I wish I could stay longer.

Grayson's POV
I watched her close the door. I sighed and walked back to my car. I drove back to my apartment and threw myself on the couch.

"Hey bro I'm going to go get some- hey what's wrong?" Ethan said coming out of his room.

"Adeline is leaving tomorrow morning and tonight was the last night I'll probably see her for a while."

"You liked her a lot didn't you?" Ethan asked.

"More than you could image. She completed me."

"Sometimes the ones you love you gotta let go."

" I just hope she won't forget me." I said.

Ethan left, and I fell into a deep sleep.
