Chapter 11

Beep beep beep

Sound of the alarm clock rang into Jenna's ears as she wacked the alarm clock and look at the time. It's 4 am. Oh what? How the heck it's 4 am? She looked around and noticed the room was different.

Oh yeah, now she remembered, she joined the academy and again today was first day of training. As well as seiing how Jacob would react, so she better put her serioys face on and do her hair fine so maybe Jacob won't recognize her.

"Alright noobs, cadets, get up so we start earlt, we end early alright?" Jacob barged in as he woke up everyone as Jenna was already ahead of them as she waited outisde along with few men. She sat on the stairs as waiting for others to ake up and get ready.

They began with jogging around the campus for 50 minutes, took a 10 minute break, and then workouts, trials, through obstacles and Jenna nailed every one of them. Jacob hasn't realised yet as he was busy looking at other cadets than his sister himself. Jacob most of the times, checking out some reports from other divisions, sine his rank was a huge part advantage since he develops quickly and rankings are on his side while John helped him in the field, through thick and thin as to make sure everything is accprding to Jacob's plan.

The whole day was tiring enough for the cadets as Jacob was amazed on how they accomplish so much during training so he rewarded them on having the whole night having fun at the hall where Jacob decided to get to know the cadets so he'll get used to knowing which one was them, analyzing each of them, what specialties they have, capabilities, abilities, weakness, he can arrange them to groups if he has to.

Everyone came in, sat down as Jacob came in. "Hey, so since you done great on the first day, tonight, it just relaxation before tomorrow alright? Now, what i need to do now is to get to know you, no you don't get my numbers, still single but never thinking of having a girlfriend, but I'm more into family type of guy. Alright, just cut to the chase, just stand up and tell us short intro of yourselfs. I'll type it down here so i know which one is you alright?"

Everyone nodded as one by one tell their stories and Jenna rolled her eyes when her brother mentioned that he doesn't want to have a girlfriend. One by one, took their time which Jacob smiled all the way looking at his phone while listening to the cadets. He was amazed by their background, some were actually forced to join, he understand how that felt.

Then..... It was Jenna's turn. Since Jacob was busy with the screen of his phone, he couldn't look at her. So she took a breath in and out, don't feel nervous Jenna. She stood up as everyone was quiet.

Now it's her time to surprise everyone.

"Hey guys and girls, You can call me Jenns if you want. I joined because my brother was part of it, he accomplished much in his life, he loved his family more than anything, except for chocolate cake of course his addiction, and he always have that idiotic buddy of his, but no offense he's not idiotic, he's just clumsy enough to not knowing how to crack an egg. So yeah, not much info, I came in maybe I missed him that much that I don't know when I'll see him again. It's already years I haven't seen him"

Everybody laughed and awwwed to Jenna's story, makes Jacob was curious enough, she didn't mention her full name. He find it similar to his story, maybe it was a coincidence.

"So, what's your full name cadet? Because your story is just full of curiosity" He nearly turned off his phone but notifications flooding his phone so he couldn't let go yet.

Jenna smiled as she knew it's now or never. "Oh sorry, it's Jenna hendricks and guys, my brother is actually infront of you" Jacob was shocked, no way, then he looked up and jaw dropped. No way, it was actually Jenna. Everybody just jaw dropped as Kane watched from the other room as she laughed.

"Jenna?"

"Hey big bro, missed you and you already know that" she waved at him and everybody was exchanging looks from Jenna to Jacob. They were amazed, no way. It was just too shocking for them right now.

"Now that's one sad story and look guys, an ending huh? finally siblings have their reunion after years of seperation" one of the male cadets wiped his tears as he was happy and others agree and laughed a little.

Jacob stood up as he walks towards Jenna, and Jenna noticed that he was walking faster and faster as she braced for impact and other cadets were giving way, not blocking Jacob's way as he runs towards her and hugged her. Jenna was surprised as she was lifted up and spun around by her brother and everyone cheered. Guess, her expectations were correct, he was surprised as fudge.

"Ok, stop, I might fall. Look at you big bro, looking tough for a major"

Jacob let go of Jenna as he was extremely happy, without words to describe his happiness. "Look at you sis, eating right? You better eat right because training is just beginning"

Jenna scratched the back of her neck as she nodded as she looked up and shocked by the facial expression given by her brother. What is that face? It looked like he was half mad, no, yup, that face, is total horror and then-

SMACK!!!

Jenna was smacked by the top of her forehead as she fell and everyone wa again jaw dropped, what the fudge just happened? At first it was just rainbow and shit, now it was just hell blazing.

"WHAT IS YOUR GODDAMN PROBLEM!?" Jenna rubbed her forehead as it was leaving a mark, man, need make up for that? Really? Jcob clenched his fists as he put his fingers on Jenna's forhead. "MIND TELLING ME THE FUCK WHY DID YOU EVEN WANT TO BECOME PART OF THIS SHIT? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HARDSHIPS JOINING THIS, YOU'RE PUTTING YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE HERE AND I CAN'T LOSE YOU LIKE LAST TIME-"

Jenna pouted as she had enough, she slapped Jacob in her defense and she was already mad enough, not disrespecting but mad. "So just because I'm a girl and your sister, can't do a fucking thing in her life? Come on jacob, last time it was just an accident and you know that. I survived, and I can't do jobs cuz I have a family to think of, so I thought maybe joining you would be more than jobs worth. I'm joining not because of you Jacob, it's bevause I want to, all this people deserve a chance to have actions in their life, yes we are putting our lives on the life, doesn't mean we just lose like that, no, like the newspaper said, ready to protect our country and that's our mission in life right now. Now if you excuse me, tomorrow is second day of training so get ourselves some good sleep"

Jenna then walked out frustrated and slammed the door as the others were facing down, didn't know what to react on the scene as Rachel Kne came in. "Alright, let's go peeps, tomorrow is another day alright? Dismissed now, except for you Major"

Everyone began to mumbled things as they walked out and shot down their lights. "Hendricks, you know how she missed you, so just let her join alright? She's old enough to take care of herslef, and you as her brother should be respecting her decision, but if you want to protect her, you can't just go over the top, you might have the chance to protect and you do, just behind the scsnes, not to confronting that's all" She patted his shouldr as she left.

Jacob was sitting down facing the floor feeling guilty, and to be honest, both girls were right, guess he thought Jenna was getting younger but she's not and in fact he was getting to be an old man. Hell naw, that was just gross enough to think about it, but again, her words are just repeating in his head, she was right. She was not his small fry anymore, she is now a shrimp. Ok that was too lol for him, guess he has to apologize to her then.
