Chapter 15

"I will first be testing your flight capabilities. Do you see that ledge over on the other side of the cavern" he says pointing in it's general direction. "I want you to fly there and back ten times, without stopping." Looking at Armor and I he motions us to start. Looking across the cavern I see the ledge he's talking about. I step to the edge of the ledge we're on and let myself fall off. I snap my wings open letting the air catch in them right before I hit the ground. Behind me I can hear Armor beating his wings. Smiling I continue gliding letting the air currents move me through the air instead of wasting energy. Looking below me I see other teachers testing their students in various different ways. Looking towards the ledge I angle upward and push myself higher to land on the ledge. As I get closer I realize he had said no breaks. Flipping my body around, my feet hit the wall and I push off with tremendous force. This goes on for around eight more times before something interesting happens below me. A bird picked up one of the snakes laughing the whole time. Grinning I go to say hi. Pushing myself through the air, I speed towards the bird who was flying higher and higher. I grab the bird by one of it's tail feathers and turn it to look at me. Once it sees who's holding him fear flashes through his eyes and he drops the snake. Only problem with that is that we're hundreds a feet in the air. Throwing the bird away I dive to grab the snake before it hits the ground. Less than a hundred feet from the ground I catch the snake by the tail and snap my wings open, trying to slow my descent. Wind rushing past my entire body Im worried if I'll slow enough in the distance i have. I land on the ground and my legs buckle beneath me. I gently set the snake down and try to make sure it's alright. Before I get the chance to though it transforms into a young kid with long blue hair. "Thanks for the save. Names Seth, and you are?" Seth ask as he holds his hand out.
