In the underground: a reader x undertale fanfic

The Exploration

After walking for what seemed like hours of Toriel showing you around and how puzzles worked. She at a short hallway.

She turned around to you and smiled. "My child," She said in a sad tone her smile starting to shrink.

"I'm sorry but," you were starting to feel scared not sure what she was going to do.

"You must walk down this hall by yourself. I'm so sorry my child but I have to." She then turned around and broke into a sprint running down the hall.

You rose an eye brow and shrugged laughing a little to yourself and looked around. You began to walk down the hall feeling a great deal of relief and determination.

Once you reached the end of the hall you looked around for Toriel. You jumped a little when she ran out from behind a pillar.

"Hello my child! You've made it to the end of the hall all by yourself!" She smiled and clapped a few times. You smiled back at her kindly.

"I'm sorry my child but I'm going to have to leave again but you can carry this and contact me when ever you need." She smiled and handed you an old looking phone you smiled and thanked her.

She left and you smiled sighing. You liked around at the many things around you and really enjoyed the Coziness of the area. You felt the familiar warmth emitting off of the necklace given to you. You walked to another yellow sparkle and placed your hand on it hearing another slight whisper in your ear.

"The warmth and coziness of the ruins fills you with determination.."

You walked to a very large door and pushed it open walking through. You held on gently to the red pendant on the golden chained necklace around you neck while walking down a small path.

You jumped a little hearing a loud ribbit and looked down seeing a rather large bull frog. Or at least you thought it was a bull frog. You shrugged and began to walk around it but every time you stepped forward the bullfrog would jump in front of you.

You began to feel impatient but looked around to make sure no one was around. You squatted down in front of the frog and smiled and let out a ribbit of your own. He had a blank stare and gave one last ribbit and hopped off. You laughed and decided to give him a name.

"Frogit" (I don't remember how to spell it so if you know just correct it in your mind lol XD) you nodded at the name and continued on with a happy smile.

After a while you decided to call Toriel and check on her. You reached into your pocket pulling out the small phone going to your speed dial list only seeing Toriel's number. You selected it with the keypad on the phone and pressed the green button putting the phone to your ear.

"Hello?" You heard Toriel's soft voice on the other end.

"Oh it's you, my child." You couldn't see her by you know she was smiling. You smiled glad to hear her voice.

"Well I must go but before I go I must ask do you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch?"

You told it didn't matter and you would eat either. She hummed.

"Alright thank you, my child." She hung up and you smiled putting the phone into your pocket and continue on your walk.

*ring* *ring*

You looked down at your pocket and pulled your phone out.

*ring* *ring*

You answered the phone and put it up to your ear.

"Hello, it's me Toriel." She greeted sweetly.

"I just have one more question. If you were to have butterscotch or cinnamon on your plate would you turn your nose up?" She asked her voice sounding more concerned.

You laughed a little and told her that you wouldn't and that she shouldn't worry. She laughed as well and sighed a little.

"Alright. I'll see you soon my child." You smiled and hung up putting the phone back into your pocket and continued to walk.

A few miles deeper you saw another golden sparkle. You smiled feeling the warmth from the necklace and put her hand against the smooth surface of the sparkle. You took a deep breath an continued to walk hearing the whisper in your ear.

"Your not quiet sure why but you feel determined!.."

Oh my goodness gracious! guys look I finally posted a flipping chapter!!!! I bet you thought this was discontinued. Well it kind of was but then I felt DETERMINED! Lol XD anyway yeah hope you guys like the chapter I know it's been a while. Well anyway bye!
